  1. Just thought I'd share this as it may interest some of you guys http://local.amazon.co.uk/West-Midlands/B00BP62NW6?src=email&cid=em_dd_wm1_101_uk_s1_&ref_=pe_216621_34994891
  2. I'm going from Kidderminster, so if you're heading down M42 then M5 I'll probably pick up the M5 at Worcester? If you let me know your route I can try figure out a rendezvous Be great if there's more than 2 of us
  3. You can have mine for £99.99 delivered Adam. I did make it myself though....
  4. I'll keep you updated with any feedback. So far it seems really easy to use. Does give a textured matt finish, but there are 'glossifiers' etc from Plastidip that are available. A number of furom members have used it on their front lower lip of the bumper and it seems to hold up to stone chips well. There's a lot of positive material online from people that have used it on their wheels and a considerable number of videos on YouTube showing how to apply it and also how to peel it off. It does seem very durable as a car that has been 'dipped' (body and wheels) is taken through a car wash with no issues. We'll see how well it holds up to UK roads and weather.
  5. Yeah, I'll keep 'em crossed for you bud. Seems a really (pardon the Americanism) lame excuse for not letting you have your car.
  6. Gutted. A boot strut shouldn't stop you picking the car up though should it? Can the garage not just forward it on to you next week when it arrives? Seems a shame to have to wait another week for such a simple thing
  7. So Dave, is your nick name Filmsy or Flimsy?
  8. This might help a little (not much, but a little). http://www.350z-uk.com/index.php?showtopic=59122
  9. I've never seen mine flash yet. Am I too mechanically sympathetic towards my engine?
  10. OK so here's a teaser/sneak peak for those that are interseted Had a parcel arrive today from PlastidipUK and in it were some cans of Gunmetal Plastidip. So I wasted no time when I got home from work in pulling one of my wheels out of the garage, giving it a dust off (it was clean already) and setting up in the dining room, on the promise I wouldn't make a mess and the paint wouldn't smell. I'm such a liar! So, here's how it's looking so far after the final coat of Plastidip. Pretty chuffed with the result, just gotta do the 3 others this weekend. (Doubt I'll be allowed to do 'em in the house though).
  11. You kinda answered your question above in your previous post yesterday You've just discovered the extra £500 isn't for a HR.
  12. I think they've based their valuation (badly) on the year and mileage, not the actual car.
  13. Bit random I know, but I just felt like posting. I've noticed that I've, in the last few moths, spent less and less time on Facebook, to the point that I maybe have a look around on it once a week, if that. I've also noticed that I spend more and more time on this forum and can simply put it down to I actually care about and have a shared interest in what you guys and gals are upto. I really don't care that my friends feel the need to update there status informing me that they've just woken up, opened a kitchen cupboard, or tell me it's raining/snowing - I own a window. I have a much greater interest in learning more and more about my car and what everyone is doing/has done/is planning on doing to theirs. Of my friends on here, I've probably only met a small handful (so that's similar to Facebook ) but I'd much rather read about your latest mod and build thread than discover that X is now in a relationship with Y, it's complicated, 23 people 'like' this and 4 feel the need to share it. This turned into a little rant didn't it? The banter on here is much better too. 350Z-uk.com is MY Facebook. Please feel free to 'Like' this Although if this site were like Facebook, and we had a 'Poke' button, I think some of the sprinkles might be in trouble...... Ian ..
  14. No worries Chris. Happy birthday Ian
