  1. ;lol: Always read the small print
  2. As long as the service history is good, the condition of the car is good and you can 'tell' it's been looked after and maintained, it should be fine. Mine's on 92k now and all original. I've only needed to change the gearbox twice, clutch 3 times, rear diff once, a set of new pistons and rings and 2 new cylinder heads, but just like Trigger's broom, it's just as good as it was when it left the factory. (Apart from the fact that my car is on 92k, none of the last statement is true).

    Worn Belts

So Will, this evening we've learnt that you paid for your Zed with stolen money and filled her up with fuel paid for with back-handed cash to a tanker driver! Alex, I'd double and triple check that bank transfer before you send Will any belts mate...

Plenty of step by step guides on here and online Will. Get ya spanners out and get your hands dirty

    Worn Belts

Easy enough DIY job to change them. Don't mention it to Dave-350 though, as his very recently snapped. Fortunately neither he or his Zed were damaged.
  6. Anyone heading down the M5 early (OK, VERY EARLY) on the morning of the 11th?
  7. I've seen Mintex, but no idea if they're any good. Sane kinda price as Brembo pads. Anyone?
  8. Just spotted something else that I don't think you've budgeted for, that you'll need to buy, especially if you're gonna keep her a while. A stubby aerial
  9. Hello and Although you will find a Zed with that budget, you may be waiting a while if you limit your search to Scotland only. At that price, a good 350Z won't stay for sale long, so I'd be prepared to travel. Good luck with your search
  10. Congrats on your new purcase. Need to add an aftermarket exhaust to the list of mods already added. Not entirely sure what it is, but it ain't OEM.
  11. Ouch, that's quite a hike Stu. Be interesting to know how much of the £72 is admin fee and how much is actual premium increase. The air filter won't give any noticable power gains.
  12. When you click on a photo in your Photobucket album, there will be a box on the right entitled 'Image links' copy (or double click) on the IMG code, then paste the IMG code into the post you're writing. It will look like a URL with at the beginning and end.
  13. The winders on the side of the seat facing the door adjust lumber support etc. If they're electric, there will be a switch (2 for driver, 1 for passenger) on the inside of the seat near the centre console/gear stick area. The 2 on the driver seat move it backwards and forwards and adjust the lean angle of the backrest, the 1 on the passenger seat moves the seat backwards and forwards, but the lean angle is adjusted manually.
  14. Fair enough Joe. I was just curious, that's all. Welcome to Zed ownership.
  15. Looks good Marz Don't worry too much about your Michelin Pilot Sport's not working aswell as your previous Goodyear's. Roads are still a bit naff regarding conditions and grip at the moment, there's still a lot of salt/grit residue around, especially on roundabouts etc.
  16. OK mate, now I'm really confused, and I thought Will was the wacky one. From the spec in your car's add, this is the standard stuff on a GT spec car: GT MODEL. 6 SPEED MANUAL IN BLACK WITH COMPLIMENTING STITCHED BLACK LEATHER, HEATED SEATS, ELECTRIC SEAT ADJUSTMENT, UPGRADED 10 SPEAKER BOSE SOUND SYSTEM. SAT NAV. XENON HEADLIGHTS, And these are the additional enhancements that you seem to have paid a couple of £k over the cost of a standard 2003 JDM car for and that make your car different. CARBON FIBRE BONNET, WINGS, REAR NISMO SPOILER, NISMO FRONT SPLITTER, 19" RS ALLOYS, MASSIVE AP RACING BRAKES, VEILSIDE MANIFOLDS IN LINE WITH PRO RACER JAP EXHAUST. TEIN "DIGITAL" ADJUSTABLE COILOVER SUSPENSION, WOLF CHARGE COOLER INDUCTION KIT. TOAD ALARM/IMMOBILISER And then these are the bits you want to get rid of: CARBON FIBRE BONNET, WINGS, REAR NISMO SPOILER, NISMO FRONT SPLITTER, 19" RS ALLOYS, MASSIVE AP RACING BRAKES, Which you may get enough money from selling to bring the cost of your car down to that of a 2003 JDM But then have the additional cost and inconvenience of replacing all that stuff to make it a nice Zed again. Or am I missing something?
  17. Just remember the text of the smiley you use regulary, then you can enter it along with the text, just remember the ':' either side. e.g. thumbs = teeth = lol = yahoo = stir = etc, etc.
  18. Mrs Keyser might be interested in the black one as a part ex.....
  19. Hope you don't mind me asking, but I'm a little confused (it doesn't take much). From the Trade-Link add I've seen for the car, it looks as though you've paid an additional premium for an upgraded 2003 JDM import, I'd assume for the carbon body parts and upgraded brakes etc. An amount that would of bought you a nice standard (or slightly modified with exhaust, wheels etc, but very nice) Zed. Why pay the additional amount for an 'upgraded' car, if you're then going to spend even more money on returning it back closer to its standard form
  20. I can't see myself on the above list and I've paid
