  1. Thankks for the feedback Arran. Glad you're happy with it fella Olliecrx, Shane and Tjstr, yours were posted this morning by Parcel Farce 48hr. But judging from when the guys above received theirs, they could turn up at any point next week!

    Rock n' Roll

Sorry to revive an old thread, but after a coversation I've just had with a colleague that drinks in Mr Plant's local, I can confirm he HAS got a 350Z. He has also got many other cars apparently and isn't the best at parking.
  7. Terrible news. My thoughts are with his family and friends. RIP Mark.
  8. Oh dear, but I'm afraid I did lol at your school end of term project analogy Where are you located Scott? There might be someone local to you that's had a go at wrapping that might be able to give you a hand.
  9. I use my Zed daily and although my daily commute doesn't include motorways anymore, it does include a 'fast' open road, with a varying 40 and 50mph speed limit. Because of this, it's a hotspot for mobile speed cameras. Using cruise control on this stretch of road means I'm not constantly checking the speedo 'just in case'. But the above could be said for any car with CC and not just a Zed (although the temptation to plant your foot down hear the V6 is probably a lot higher than other cars)
  10. Hello and Phil
  11. Intersting that the seller also has listed the car they're fitted to! Actually, that exact car was recently on sale on eBay for £7k. A colleague is/was looking into a 350Z after I gave him a lift in mine and I found this car - think I even said to him "buy the car then sell the wheels to get a wedge back". Not bad £2k mark up!
  12. Problem solved http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-Front-Rear-Universal-Disc-Brake-Caliper-Cover-Brembo-Style-Medium-Small-Red-3D-/271134587891?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3A350+Z&hash=item3f20e17bf3
  13. Yeah, those facelift tail lights are awful. I'll swap you for my 2004 one's if you want, just to help you out
  14. Hello and . Where are you located?
  15. Hmmm, that sub enclosure has given me an idea.....
  16. No problem Ben. Just give me the nod
  17. As opposed to a wolf in a wonderbra?
  18. If you buy a Nismo oil cap, then you'll have Nismo bits. Primarily, an oil cap
  19. Thanks mate. I've sent them an email today expressing my disappointment (your post reminded me), so we'll see what kinda response I get.
  20. Nah, I'm not. Just Googling '350Z spring mount mod' returns a number of results and discussions, but they all pretty much seem to be from the U.S.
  21. CS - I'll send you a PM now. So you've got a customer with a Zed, and they're not a forum member? Ewan - Glad it arrived safely and you're happy with it.Thanks for asking me to make you one
  22. Here's a starter: http://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-suspension/187959-06-upper-rear-spring-seat-free-lowering-mod.html I'm NOT endorsing this mod. See me as a guinea pig if you like. That's why I wanted a 'spare' set to do it to.
  23. SPRING HAS FINALLY SPRUNG!! Got my Tein S Tech springs today. Also received a pair of upper spring mounts courtesy of Sir Zedmanalex, who did me a ridiculously good, unspeakable deal on a used pair after I simply sent him a link to a pair for sale on eBay asking if they were the right ones. Cheers Alex Why the spring mounts you may ask Well, the yanks seem to rave about removing upto half an inch from the rubber mounts to lower and/or even out the rear of their Zeds. I've only found positive feedback from people that have done this (maybe all the guys that 'could' leave negative feedback are in a ditch or 6 feet under). I currently have a HUGE arch gap of between 50 and 70mm, depending on how much fuel I'm carrying. The Tein springs drop the rear of the car by 15mm, which would still leave me (I think) with a considerable gap. So I plan to carry out, what the American's affectionately call the 'rear spring mount mod' and chop a bit of rubber off I didn't want to do this to my existing set, incase I fudge it up, hence the reason I sourced a second pair. I'm not going to hack half an inch off as our friends across the pond all suggest, I'm just gonna trim 5mm (it's originally 30mm) off the top and therefore effectively give me 20mm drop instead of 15mm. Watch this space....
