  1. And leave my nuts alone!
  2. Stealth? Are you sure.....?
  3. Is this due to recent peer pressure? I saw Mark's Zed very recently and considering it's done twice the mileage of mine and in some cases 3 or 4 times the mileage of other cars, it's wearing the miles very well. A credit to it's former and current owner. Look forward to seeing your developments mate, I assume you've got the N/S/R tyre sorted now?
  4. Blue, Gunmetal, Red, Silver and Black? Almost got the full Zed colour spectrum there!
  5. There's a new one listed with a BIN price of £127.20 incl P&P, so I'd assume that is
  6. My DIY vertical tonneau/boot divider After that it would have to be my wheels as they are the most noticeable, visual mod.
  7. No. It didn't have a red stripe running down the side of it
  8. "Need nismo flywheel please"
  9. Yeah, it's not a quick job and you do need a massive dose of patience! Mine isn't perfect, but I'm happy with how it cane out.
  10. I assume you mean the 3 at the top? I removed the dials (they're screwed and plastic riveted) and then cut around the bottom part. There is a small 'lip' in the p[lastic that I followed with a stanley blade.
  11. It is easy to peel off. As Dedman said, it's not too difficult, once you get the hang of it. I just used a hairdryer as my heat source and it worked fine. The gear/heater control surround is a good piece to get started with. It's easy to remove and the shape makes it a good piece to get some practice on. One good thing about wrapping is it's not permaneny and easily reversible if it goes belly up. Make sure you're in a tolerant, patient mood before you start and if the wrap you're using is textured, expect sore thumbs by the time you've finished
  12. OK, thanks Pete - that saved me asking a few questions!

  14. Here's mine: Start in the middle and wrap over the edges. The vinyl will stretch round the corners - heat is your friend here
  15. Thanks Pete. I'm glad you're happy with it. I bet Caroline wishes she had a coupe instead of the roadster now! OK, maybe not.... Cheer Mark Best sell your OEM one now while it's still worth something
  16. Thanks Pete They are 19's. Front - 8J ET20. No spacers but thinking of fitting 5 or 10mm just to bring them out a little. Rear - 9.5J ET40 with 25mm spacers (so effectively ET15). The offset on these is just right. Here's another pic, just for the sake of it I've ordered a set of Tein springs to reduce the mahoosive arch gap. Looking forward to seeing how it looks when these are fitted
  17. High octane - Super unleaded. Tesco Momentum or the Shell stuff that I can't rember the name of are forum favourites. Don't put regular unleaded in her. She won't thank you for it.

    Wheels wanted

Jeez Luke! That didn't take long!
  19. Hello and Congrats on the new purchase.
  20. Adam's only jealous cos he ended up buying a Zed in the third best colour
  21. You followed me from Stourbridge to Kidderminster and I got a cheeky flash (of the lights) from you as I turned off into my road. Didn't really catch the plate (as I'm not very good at reading backwards in my mirror and was trying to look where I was going ) but I think it was a private plate that began with 'T' Anyone?
  22. Hello and Best colour for a Zed - Fact!
  23. I used DG Autotech when I had my TT. They are based on the Droitwich road, just outside Kidderminster and knew their stuff , www.dgautotech.com There's also Autotechnik in Blackheath that are a VAG specialist..http://www.autotechnikltd.co.uk/index.html
  24. This topic came up at a meet last weekend. One of the attendee's said "I've got a set of the Kintix discs fitted to my Zed". I instantly ran to the front of his car to look at the egg shaped, cracked, split and dangerous discs. Guess what, they were fine. They're fitted to a daily driver Zed and have covered just over 6000 miles. There were no lips on the discs and they looked in great condition. The owner reported no issues with them at all and they performed as brakes should. Unfortunately I forgot to ask what pads he was using with them. I think a key factor to a brake set up's performance is the bed-in procedure. As long as this is followed, I don't think your average Joe, using his/her Zed on the road will have any issues. Just thought I'd add a bit of 'real world' feedback to accompany flyboy's and also to say, I've just ordered me a pair of fronts with some Brembo pads. I'll report back after a few 1000 miles
  25. Although I can't help with the initial 'upgrade' question, I'm currently working through a P3 myself (doing sections at a time) and have found the Nissan checklist really useful. I'm just ticking stuff off as and when I do it. The checklist can be found in here : http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/61672-nissan-service-checklist/
