  1. So your the winner so far with 11" rears This is my favourite 350 ever
  2. After reading a thread just now I was wondering who has the craziest wheels set up on the forum in terms of wheel width and offsets. I'm running 19"x9.5" ET20 Fronts 19"x10.5" ET0 Rears Is anyone running wider than this is like to try and run 12" on the rears with 10" on the front.
  3. Have a look on this website see what you think this is what I used to decide what wheel specs to get www.rimtuck.com type i what car and what size wheels and it will bring lots of pictures up of your car with different wheel specs.
  4. I've got 19" 9.5 fronts 10.5" rears in a et20 offset with 20mm spacers on the rear and it doesn't rub although I do have my rear arches rolled. I would go for the ET 12 offset if I was you as it will look a lot better although I'm not sure if the fronts would rub or not. Have you lowered it al all or planning to lower it?
  5. I would say that's quite a good price, last yeah I paid £2300 for my 350z with mods declared and I was 24 with 4 years no claims. Most company's won't touch you till your 25. You could try the insurance company's on here tho before buying.
  6. The Sat nav won't work and can not be reprogrammed. I've got an import look at the pedals and steering wheel to see if they are overly worn as some imports could be clocked also try and get one with brembos as if you try and change later on you could be looking a 1k for the brembo kit. If I was you I'd try and get a UK car as it will be easyier to sell on I only got an import as they didn't make UK automatics.
  7. Thanks for the help tho guys lol. Damn I was looking farward to setting that up and having some fun.
  8. Good luck with getting these off, I had a mate who had these on his civic I don't know how they can sell such a poor quality item which is very safety related
  9. The 2 buttons on the right of the clocks change the brightness of the illumination - it's the 2 on the left you wanna be pressing. The top one should scroll through the following (it does on UK cars). Current Speed Outside Temperature Distance To Empty (dte) Average Fuel Consumption Elapsed Time / Stopwatch Up Shift Indicator (Manual only). This can be changed by pressing the lower of the 2 buttons. If you haven't got a user manual, just Google 350Z Owners Manual PDF. The info you're after is on p.68 (in the one I'm looking at anyway) Lthumbs: Maybe that's why i cant find it my car is automatic.
  10. I've gone through the tripple gauge and cant find it, can anyone tell me how to find it. I have two buttons on the left with flick through the tripple gauge and reset it but I also have two buttons on the right that has a pic of a rev counter but when i press either of them nothing happens.
  11. Do the imports have this light aswell as I've never seen it on mine
  12. The r34 gtr was ment to be 276bhp O-60 in 5.2 seconds.
  13. Coilovers they made the car feel so much better and safer to drive.
  14. I don't run them because I'm a tight arse I run them because I like them I don't see a problem with them in the wet or cold, obviously there is going to be less grip in wet or cold conditions but you should drive accordingly anyway. Even driving the cat very fast they have never let me down I think that other brands of tyres are just overpriced just because of the name stamped on them.
  15. I run falken fk452's and have done for about 4 years I love them and there a good price.
  16. Look on the ultimate finish website they are wicked that's where I buy my cleaning stuff, I use dodo juice and they do a DA rotary polishing machine for £100. Ultimate finish also do kind of starter packs lots of different packs with different accessories and different DA rotaries. The halfords one might be alright but I dout it the more expensive ones have cut outs so if you press to hard they cut out to prevent you damaging you paint I doub the halfords ones have this.
  17. You might damage the standard dampers but I've had my a3 lowered for three years now 30mm drop all round with no problems surely its better to use the standard dampers until they fail then up rate the dampers, you might as well get your use out of them. Lowering springs are ok as there cheap but coil overs completely change the car I have so much more confidence in mine since fitting the coil overs well worth the money if you drive the car properly if you just pose then buy springs. I've lowered mine about 50 mm I think and I don't need all these different camber arms mine runs fine however clearance is a problem now.
  18. Nice car welcome, I used to have a starlet gt turbo there wicked cars.
  19. Hey I've got a jdm auto because I have to have auto's it's an awsome gearbox on it and you can change gear yourself which is always a bonus. Welcome.
  20. Agreed mines low, slow and stretched to f**k but I like it. It's not because I bought the wrong sized wheels but stretching the tyre is the only way to make them fit.
  21. The car looks sweet, looks the same as mine now what discs do you have on it?
  22. Welcome to the club I'm in Emsworth so if you ever need a hand or any advise give us a shout.
