  1. No if you screw the bottom cup up 25mm the sock is safe as its screwed in enough but the shock is really at its longest/ heighest if you screwed the cup on as much as it would go then the shock would be the lowest it could.
  2. A manual will always be easier to sell so unless the car Is very good for the money or has a wicked spec I would go for a manual, I have an auto and I love it the gearbox is very good but many people won't look twice once finding out its auto.
  3. You are ment to do 100 miles before stiffening them up to run them in but as you said it is very bouncy to start with so drive carefull. With the rear as has been said when you lower the spring ten mm lower the shock the same, and the spring preload the locking collars should just hold the spring so it doesn't move but you can lower the spring if you don't like how bouncy it is, however I would leave it for now and after 100 miles start playing with the stiffness as this will make a huge difference. On mine I have done as above and I am on click 9 out of 16 and I am very happy with the set up I was going up 3 clicks at a time until I was happy hope this has helped and enjoy the best mod you can do to the car
  4. Standard it's prob worth about 5-5.5k with that mileage.
  5. I know I wasent snapping I just couldent believe someone would be so stupid with thousands of gallons of explosive liquid benieth them.

    F##k that, that's ridiculous.
  7. Doesn't matter if it was a pro drifter common sence tells you not to do it with the possible outcome.
  8. No the cleaner the better lol hope you enjoy your new car.
  9. Me and my dad just popped to our local tesco branch to do abit of shopping we pulled in and straight away I heard tyres screeching I looked into the petrol station and there was some utter prat drifting his BMW inside the petrol station, if he had crashed he potentially could have killed many people. I hope he gets done for it as he will be on camera.
  10. Congratulations unlucky about the scratches tho, ask for your prize to be a full respray lol.
  11. What area are you from it looks like chichester.
  12. I personally have to drive autos but like said above unless you have actually driven one how can you comment, every car is different my old 200sx and starlet gt had old style auto boxes they were still great fun but nothing in comparison compared to the 350 and I'm purely on about the gearboxes here. The new style tiptronic boxes are a lot better why do you think they only do gtr's in auto and other super cars because the new auto boxes are wicked you can change gear when you want bounce it off the rev limiter without electronic interference or stick it in drive and let it do all the work in town driving.
  13. You would be suprised how much some cars weigh my 3dr a3 is 1450kg's I was well shocked its no exactly a big car
  14. In all fairness it could have a @*!# loads of parts on it and be really low milage.

  18. I have an auto aswell and mine is far from slow in fact it's very quick, have you been driving in manual mode and have you turned the sport button on aswell? The trip tonic box in the 350z is very good for an auto box. Has it been serviced and looked after?
  19. It doesn't really help the car problems but at least your both ok that's the main thing.
  20. Just voted for you and your FTO is second so both your cars are in the lead.
