  1. So here are some pictures of how I routed the cable that goes from the alternator (I believe) to the battery. In to the brake fluid compartment Around the back of the bulk head And out the other side to the battery Would have liked it to be a bit neater than running over the top of the battery but there just isn't enough length on it for that. Here's a quick before and after, big improvement aesthetically. Hope you like guys all in all this took about half an hour to do at the most. Plenums are now back from the powdercoaters all nice and shiny awaiting to be refitted with a black Wasso plenum spacer The throttle body has also received a quick freshen up for good measure Hope you enjoy! Comments more than welcome, Elliot
  2. So time for some more progress on the zed, progress has been pretty slow but this process is time consuming and tedious! The intake plenums both upper and lower have been removed and dropped off at the powder coaters.... While the plenums were off I decided to give the engine bay a thorough clean and degrease.... Here is a before and after to show just how dirty it was before I began! Battery tray washed Now some pictures of the cleaning complete! Pictures of the wire tuck to follow. Cheers Elliot
  3. dibs on carbon a pillars. pm sent to P15UL T
  4. good luck with getting the wheels you are after. forgestar who make them are a bunch of tossers, I currently have a set on my 350z. upon delivery from the US one was damaged which ups refused to accept liability for as it didnt meet there packaging guidelines. forgestar said they would offer a slight refund in order to cover the repair, also 3 out of the 4 wheels had areas of paint missing; they wouldnt even supply the colour code for me to get paint mixed over here! I personally wouldnt go anywhere near them, if i were you id go for the works wheels. rant over on the other hand car is looking very nice! Elliot
  5. looking very nice only slightly envious! finished product will be something very special thats for sure!
  6. What intercooler is that the treadstone tr1235? If so getting mine to fit will be fun by the looks of it! Good luck with it all progress is looking good.
  7. So this how today started off! After waiting in for a delivery went out to the garage and started to fit a torqen titanium bolt kit in black. This is just the start of the engine bay dress up! Here's a few pictures for you guys.... Every bolt and washer individually bagged! Took a while to remove them all haha The old horrible green bolts.... The start of the new bolts.... All finished, nice easy relaxing job. Quick picture at my mates marina, went for a quick ride out And put to bed for the night! Enjoy guys
  8. They will get pretty battered but had to have them to compliment the front carbon lip will be putting some carbon rear spats on at some point along with a rear bumper tuck which pretty much concludes the exterior modifications.
  9. Hi Matt, Yes the jack seems pretty good quality I bought the package which was the jack and stands for £132 all in. The only snag I had with the jack was the little pin that holds the handle together the hole it pops in to had a little burr which had to be removed as it wasn't locking fully. Other than that spot on! This is the 2.5 ton rated one and isn't a light bit of kit....
  10. In preparation for getting my coilovers fitted I had the rear arches rolled by Paul from arch enemy, he did a top job. Ordered an Isis performance single exit from Tarmac sportz as I'm personally a big fan of single exit! In order to fit the exhaust ordered a jack and stands from sgs engineering, nice bit of kit and not too expensive After spending an evening removing the stock exhaust and a couple of hours today it is now fitted. Cheers guys any comments welcome
  11. So it's been along time since I've posted any progress since the bodyshop, a lot has been happening including buying my first house so the car is now going to take a bit longer to progress but never mind. Anyway on with some updates, Took the car to a local meet Moved it in to my new place which has a much better garage than what it was in before After being stored in a leaky garage before it was in massive need of a good wash, so gave it a rinse off. Sorted the garage out a little, bit of a sweep and carpet on the wall to protect my door getting in and out
  12. very nice adrian some simple changes but very effective! looking good
  13. Looking very nice, can certainly tell it's going to be BIG! Keep it up can't wait to see it finished.
  14. I'd be up for a kit Adrian. Some others please join so we can get some more ordered up.....
  15. Personally am not sure what you want from Adrian. He can't help how long the suppliers take to supply the parts, for instance when I ordered the wheels for my zed (not from Adrian) they took almost a month longer than they should have done and had nothing but problems with them. Adrian is now supplying yourself with a whole new system from what I gather? Personally I wouldn't mind having to pay a nominal amount in fees when I have ended up with a whole replacement system which is what around £700-£800 normally? Am sure everything will get sorted but considering you have a whole new system without having to send the faulty part or anything id say you have done well. The company who my wheels are from promised me £300 costs to cover a full refurb from damage in transit etc I never got that from them because they couldn't care less now they have my money..... At least yours is getting sorted!
  16. Il take a black set please. Send the usual invoice over.... Wish you would stop robbing my money!
