  1. I have been looking over the past month's and picked up the following recommendations - Pagid discs with either EBC red stuff pads or Ferodo DS2500 pads. Also, you can get combi deals on ebay i.e. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-350-z-roadster-G35-front-grooved-brake-discs-and-brembo-pads-TX066-/251438653818?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3a8ae9617a#ht_895wt_1275
  2. As others have stated it depends on whether you want the wind in the hair experience or not. I think the Roadster looks great with the roof down. I really enjoy the roof down whether it a hot or cold day, the aircon sorts out the temperature so it can be used roof down for more than the 2 weeks a lot of people state You should look and carefully test the roofs of any Roadster you are viewing. I know that many have had new and better roofs fitted, my oid 56 Roadster included. This cost me £760. I recommend trying both and see which you prefer. A picture is worth a thousand words...
  3. Welcome, another owner in the Oxford area.
  4. Horsham Developments in Chieveley or Japex in Kings Langley, both specialists and traders on here. I know Horsham don't do MOTs, not sure about Japex
  5. Some great pictures, I really like the 4th one down

wow, just sold my 350z today after 1 day on Autotrader. The first person to view her transferred the money to my account and drove her home. I hadn't cleaned her for 3 weeks and she was nearly empty of fuel. I've put a deposit down on a 370 convertible so will post some pics as soon as I pick her up. It's all happened a bit quicker than I expected... A big thank you to the trader on here, you know who you are, that advised me on trying to sell her privately before accepting trade value.
  7. Agree, you have given private buyers the opportunity. The only positive I can see with Junction 17 is that they are increasing the general prices of Zs, you can really see this with the 370z roadster. Of course this isn't so good for prospective buyers...
  8. Thanks, it did cross my mind but I have finally found her replacement which means I will be staying on this forum I hope she does go to a good home.
  9. Thank you. I've been looking at 2010-2011 cars and have found it really hard to find something in as good condition
  10. Forgot to mention - as I've purchased 3 HPI checks I can supply one on my car too
  11. Thank you, I've just remembered I forgot a pic showing all of the paperwork.....
  12. Thank you. I like the seats too, IMO they really set the car off especially with the orange Brembo brakes and reflectors.
  13. I have owned the roadster for 3 1/2 years and added 12,000 very enjoyable miles during that time. I work from home so the car has been used mainly for getting to weekly sporting activities and weekend drives. I have made sure it has been taken out at least once for a lengthy drive as I live close to many winding A roads I have only ever filled her up with super unleaded petrol (V-Power or Momentum 99). UK car First registered in October 2006 on a 56 plate 33,000 miles GT Pack (BOSE 7 speaker Stereo, heated seats, cruise control) Electric Azelan meshed seats (upgrade). A great upgrade in my opinion Rear parking sensors (upgrade) Xenon headlights with washers Adjustable multi-function steering wheel Power folding mirrors Climate control air conditioning Brembo brakes 18†RAYS alloy wheels Three keys (two main, one valet) 6 Service record stamps - 4 Nissan main dealers, 2 Nissan specialists Next service due in November 2015 MOT'd until November 2015 Recent servicing additions New Nissan fan unit (November 2011) New Scorpion exhaust £430 (April 2013) New front compression arm bushes (November 2013) Gearbox and differential oil change (November 2013) New mohair hood £760 (January 2014) RDX Stubby antenna (March 2014). The original is also included. 4 Michelin Pilot Super Sports tyres £680 (4,000 miles ago in March 2014) Refurbished wheels (April 2014) Steering wheel leather upgrade (April 2014) Paint correction and full detail (May 2014) New drive belts (November 2014) Hunter system 4 wheel alignment (November 2014) I am only selling as have been saving my company car allowance for the past 3+ years and now looking to upgrade; this is the longest I have ever owned a car. I'm looking for £8,450 ono which I feel is competitively priced for the condition of the car with near new MPSS tyres and mohair hood. Please PM me if there's anything I've missed or to arrange a viewing, I live close to Chinnor in Oxfordshire. I am convinced the first serious viewer will buy her! Recent pictures
  14. Welcome Steve. I'm looking at upgrading so my 2006 roadster may come up for sale soon. Though it does have the orange with black mesh seats. There are a few pics here http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/98579-a-few-pics-with-the-top-down-while-its-dry/page__st__20#entry1489467 PM me if you could be interested, I have some more pics and a description that I can send you Steve
  15. I'm looking to upgrade to a 370 GT roadster 2010-2012, preferably in gunmetal or silver with low miles. PM me if you are looking to sell. I will consider other colours apart from black. Thanks, Steve
  16. So now you state exhaust where in post 14 you stated 'Dont change exhaust the standard one is good for like 450bhp or something along those lines.' And can you keep the shouting NOT out of your text, it really isn't necessary. People are providing information on what they consider good modifications not necessarily what you consider good, neither is right or wrong.
  17. Buy a forum members car that has the essential mods already Pointers from me are - stubby aerial, steering wheel recover, good roof, good tyres, good exhaust... Did I mention that I am considering selling my roadster Feel free to PM me when the time is right.
  18. Thanks bababongles, I've tried to keep it looking good. After close to 4 years of ownership I am thinking about upgrading to something like a 370z so it maybe up for sale soon
  19. I am thinking of upgrading in the near future so took a couple of pics in preparation. I have never posted a pic so hopefully this works...
  20. and you're in OXFORD!!! i'll keep an eye out and see if I can nudge that rear wheel with my droopy nosed nismo Indeed, I'll install a droopy nosed nismo detector
  21. Occasional Triathlon Olympic lycra clad wannabe causing utter distraction to car drivers
  22. I generally get extras done when I have the relatively cheap P1 service completed. I find the Horsham development servicing page really useful to get information on recommended intervals - http://www.h-dev.co.uk/index2.php?page=350ZServicing
