  5. Haha those rims are epic! I really want the roadster but just need a bit more convincing really. Really wanna see some roadster show cars. Aesthetics are really important to me so what really looking to take away from this post is the potential of roadsters. I do like the modifiedcartrader.com one and the black one after that with all the graphics and stickers.   8. Hi all, I'm stuck between choosing a 350z roadster or coupe. Now, the coupe looks waaaay better than the roadster but I've always wanted a roadster for the 20 or so days of summer we get here in Britain. Now there's the whole "in your face" modifications and the "subtle" modifications (aesthetics that is). I'm more of a "in your face" modifications kind of guy. So a big fan of huge spoilers and wide arches etc. I've seen so many awesome 350z coupes done up really nicely (aesthetics). But I've not seen any roadsters heavily modified looks wise.   11. First off, I'd like to apologise for causing a fracas here. That was never my intention. Secondly, I'm afraid I have to agree with Shane on this one. I wouldn't class a service as a 'mod'. Although I don't agree with the way he's getting his points across. But nonetheless I appreciate the help and I think there's just been a lack of sleep communication here. I currently have a Toyota celica 190. The essential aftermarket upgraded parts modifications on the car would be upgrade the engine mounts, gear bushings, and a few other mechanical parts. These are things which are prone to break/really @*!# quality from factory. So the question I'm asking is, what parts of the Zed should I consider UPGRADING first? Perhaps the clutch when it dies out as I heard the stock ones are pretty shite? Perhaps some braided Brake lines coz the stock ones aren't good enough? Everyone get my 'drift' now 😜?   12. Hi All, Considering getting a 350Z roadster facelift towards the end of the year. Was just wondering what the 'essential' first mods should be? For example, I recently learnt that the clutch is very weak on these cars? what would be an upgrade for the stock clutch etc... Thanks in advance, Aminul

  14. Fair enough, if that's what works for you, I must confess time has rarely been a consideration for me. I'm somewhat surprised that, as a professional, you don't adopt the the well versed "start with the least aggressive and work your way up" mantra though. Sorry I may not have been clear in my last post so this may be a little confusing. I do use the method of using the least aggressive method to get the job done. But if I'm doing a car which has just left the show room, then i know that there is a good amount of factory clear coat on the paint for me to play around with. Although I'd still measure the paint thickness. BMW's for example have an absolute solid paint from my experience. So I wouldn't necessarily need to "work my way up" as from experience, once I know that the factory clear coat is there on a BMW, I can grab my rupes 21 and MF cutting pad and get on with it. Whereas if I'm working on a classic rare car, then I'd measure the paint before even considering compounding and polishing. And from there I'd use the least aggressive method and work my way up. So it sum it up, if I'm working on a car which has factory paint, and I've worked on the same manufacteur car, the paint strength (soft or hard) tends to be consistent through all the cars of that make. As stated above, bmw's have solid paint from my experience. Hondas and a lot of Japanese cars have soft paint. I'd adjust my methods accordingly. Although this thread is starting to go off topic so do PM me if you'd like to discuss more or let's start another thread. I love it when a good intelligent debate sparks as with everything else in life, we learn new things on a daily basis
