Got my HFC's fitted, but the rest of the exhaust is shagged!! The bose bass is a common problem... My bose sub comes in when it feels like, usuall when im pumping bassy music at a high volume... stil yet to fix this, but there is an easy solution out there! (apparently) cant help with the rest sorry

Good luck on getting it sorted, I know a few people who work for admiral and they are bastards for settling claims, they will offer you below trade price first off and be hard about it... so prepare yourself for a battle to get the best price for your car (you may be lucky and get a nice person to settle the claim) Glad no one was hurt though!!

do the uk tripple gauges show everything in miles / mph and MPG rather than a very depressing km/L and km and kmh

Yeah, I am booked in now on wednesday for £60 + vat with no surprise costs, I thought £100 was a bit steep... and the mention of them saying they may have to cut them made alarm bells ring!

I have just got my Berk HFC... And need to fit them, I took it to longlife and they quoted me £50 each side (£100) + any extra time needed to drill out broken studs in the flanges, repair flanges and if it doesnt fit right they said they might need to cut the berk hfc pipe and re-weld it... now, I just paid a lot of money for these things and don't like the idea of them cutting and re-welding them.. or am I just being too cautious? Are they likely to not fit straight in.. and is it likely that bolts and studs will need drilling out? surely just getting the bolt head off / snapping them, then a whack with a hammer will push them out of the flange wont it?

I have wondered this too, the normal jack fits either side of the seam, I did jack it up the other day just on the inboard part where the seam is, one side seemed to have a bit of reinforced metal... but the other side didnt Is this the location to jack it?

ha, I will start on an inconspicuous area first, I will also say what the leather care stuff is like... never know, it could be fantastic stuff with people writing it off with no experience...

Digging this one up... As my Mothers partner works for the company that owns this... I asked if he knew of any leather cleaning and care products and said about this, and he said about the waterless cleaner product being very good...... The Black XK R being used in the advert is actually the MD's own jag, so shows he has some faith in the product... I will be getting my hands on some and give feedback on the results, see if it will turn me from using my meguiars that I so love much and it will be an honest opinion!
