  1. yep, why pay someone who might not even do it properly when you can have fun and do it yourself! At least you get to know your car. Keep all the receipts for service stuff you buy and use this when you sell to show what's been done!
  2. Mega, seems normal to me, my dial says 18mpg around London with probably slightly less stop start than you as I try not to drive in rush hour(s)... though managed 32 mpg on the motorway!
  3. nice one with the filming! where are you in the east side? I'm up in Stamford Hill. We're trying to get a meet up organised so stick your name down here if you can make it! http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=92&t=53975
  4. nope, I find it relaxing as well!
  5. cool! good to see it still being (ab)used!
  6. Sorry if this is a bit stalkerish but do you own the silver S13 G*** PCD? I owned it years ago if so and recognise your name from SXOC! didn't know you had a Zed now if so.
  7. the joys of living in London still worth giving Sky a buzz though...
  8. nice car and cats! (I've got one Bengal too) where did you get the bonnet struts from?

    LED Bulbs

pretty sure they're also T20 that are also known as 7443 (both rear lights and brake combined)
  10. Yes worked fine for me! polarity sensitive though so they only work one way around. No where near the centre bit that can short and blow the BCM. have a read of this thread for more info: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=37554
  11. ordered these for the mirror lights: http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/high-brightn ... -2392.html slightly too long but should fit OK if I cut a bit of plastic back. time to hunt for rear brake lights, indicators, reverse and fog!
  12. mine look the same as Husky's so hopefully a bit easier to track down. Boot and cabin bulbs all arrived today and work fine!
  13. doesn't look that cheap to me? with the price of petrol and what else is out there on the market prices ae dropping! also the tax difference made a difference to me when looking
  14. 60 and 80 grit briefly for the worst of it, then 120. Everything else keyed with 240 ready for primer. If you can get the high build primer to take out minor scratches get that, I couldn't see any in my local Helfrauds. Normal clear coat on top yes. cool, thanks for info! think i have some high build primer left from some previous side skirts repair!
  15. lovely job! given me some inspiration to get my standard wheels refurbed and sprayed up what grade(s) wet and dry did you use to get the curbing down? adn was it regular clear coat laquer in the top?
  16. Give Sky a shout, were cheapest for me by a long way. Where in north London are you? My postcodes N15 which is pretty poor insurance wise
  17. I'd look both and if both are ok and up to spec get the JDM and spend the rest on mOds!
  18. Any of these around for 03 Zeds? Guess they use OBD1???
  19. one at 5.30ish, black heading westwards on the A406 just before the Tottenham turn off and another orange parked up in Waitrose carpark in South Woodford
  20. hahaha an ever present danger in times of heat!
  21. flipping eck, that's a fair wedge! luckily i can cycle to work quicker than it takes to drive so I do that unless i'm feeling really lazy!
