  1. UK GT spec would probably be easier to sell on rather than a JDM one...I reckon anyway. Plus the service history is likely easier to establish with UK cars.
  2. Maybe try the reset and throttle body re learn before messing with the cleaning of it? Just an idea, may save you the hassle of cleaning it. link on reset http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/53148-how-to-ecu-accelerator-pedal-throttle-valve-resets/page__hl__throttle
  3. video is a little laggy/choppy (for me anyway) so really hard to tell mate. Maybe others will have better luck
  4. All normal mate and hope your enjoying it (Bought your car btw, not brought) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Check ones for sale on here. I got pretty much a brand new one off a member who had replaced theirs. Think it was £30/£40. Fitted it really easy, although you do need the forearms of Hulk to twist the old one off.
  6. Same here, had a dent on bonnet and that was removed for £40. If it is about £40 for a small dent then this doesnt seem worthwhile (unless this insurance also covers the paintwork up to 6cm??).
  7. I would knock off at least £500 just because he mentioned he took it to Halfords once!!
  8. Ah ok, there was one for sale around my way and havent seen it recently. Just a coincidence!
  9. Slightly off topic but where did you buy your GT4? Wasnt around Gloucestershire area was it?? FYI- Mine plays copied CD's fine
  10. My drivers side is getting like this. But it' so much effort to do all that just for a seatbelt! Maybe a job for next summer!
  11. Mate I really feel for you. Glad you know what your up against now and hope you get it fixed ok. Any chance of going back to the buyer and asking for some contribution towards the repair? They should have pointed this out to you.
  12. Nice one pal. Took a little detour on way to work this morning to skip the traffic and had a nice run on some country roads. Forget how fun the Zed is when you ahve the chance on a quiet road! Back end wiggles are the best!!
  13. Have to say, I am getting an itch to change the Zed as it's been about 3 years of ownership. I have never driven a performance car with a turbo but then again I find myself coming back to check the prices of Integra's again. Tempted to go and test drive a DC5 but not sure what my feelings are potentially going back to a FWD car.
  14. Have wondered what a 335d is like to drive. Always thought that these sorts of cars would be too clinical and wont feel like a 'drivers' car. Masses of torque and great mpg for the performance but feels a little dull and doesnt sound that great. Dont park it in a multistory car park, you will lose it in amongst all the other BMW's!!
  15. I recognise these two beauties! I will have to pop over and some point and see you guys! Matt B
  16. M5 is an incredible car (only had passenger experience though) and they sound great, but as said above the running costs are just insane! That's why my mate traded it in. Personally I couldnt ever own a BMW just isnt my thing. Although can appreciate how great the M3 and 5 are.
  17. Noisy fuel pump? Total guess.....seems more likely to be a small exhaust leak.
  18. I thought about getting a HR but the price difference didnt warrant the extra (marginal) performance. Wouldnt underestimate a DC2 Integra, it would munch most Zeds on B roads. (can't believe I got into this conversation....might start searching for Zed vs VXR 0-60 times)
  19. I have found tyre pressure massively affects the feel of the Zed. Pump them and drive it and see how it feels
  20. Wow paying insurance that high would really put me off owning a Zed at that age. Glad your all enjoying the car though Must be getting old now! 29, 9 years NCB, about £350. I know some of the more "experienced" members of the forum pay something like £150!!!
  21. Think I have seen this one about. Have only seen this black and a couple of Azure ones (one of which is heavily modified)....and mine of course!!
  22. I was lucky as I was able to use a friends garage for the afternoon and get help doing all the work (including undersealing the car). Only cost me the fluids and parts. Cost of P3 at Horsham (including advice on when you need to chage things)- http://www.h-dev.co....e=350ZServicing Plus add on the extra bits you need like belts etc. I know a few people has questioned Molyslip in the gearbox fluid but I found it really helped smooth the gear change in the Zed. PM clark motorsport on herer for your parts mate.
  23. I would ask a decent garage to do a P3 service for you. I would be worried that the last 3 were done by Halfords. At the same time get the belts changed, all fluid inc gearbox and clutch. Then you know for sure it is all ok going forward.
  24. From Evo website:- Audi- £43k , four-wheel drive, 335bhp, 332lb ft, 235bhp/ton. I had the same with a C63 AMG.....I genuinely looked down to check my revs as I thought my car stalled or lost all power or something. C63= Beast.
  25. Seems harsh just to scrap them, at least take the little guy to a vet if your poor cat is damaged!! Seriously though, I would ring around a few scrap places and see what they offer you. Afterall you dont want to mess around travelling too far and may be worth it
