  1. Had the same thing apart from I ended up knocking out my target with the door when I opened it!! Think I will turn off the auto aim and bullet time thing, but can't live without tagging the enemy!
  2. Just got MGS as well, really great game. Fulton recoveries are brilliant!! They have really worked on the movement so its really fluid. Fodder- Definitely remained true to the original ones, I love it even after a few missions. I have only just unlocked things like C4 but I think you just stealth up to equipment and plant C4 then sneak out and blow it up.
  3. May also be worth checking if you have personal accident cover included under your motor insurance policy. There may be benefits payable if there is temporary or permanent disablement (which I hope isn't the case), but if the worst occurs then this could be an avenue where you can get a benefit payment (E.g. £2,000 for loss of limb). Personal accident is a benefits policies so you do not need to provide negligence against a third party or claim off someone else.
  4. Didn't realise you could get the FR in that green!
  5. Thanks chaps, I will test drive both the petrol and faster diesel and see which I prefer. Glad to hear positive reviews
  6. Thanks mate, I will definitely test drive an FR in that case. MPG and tax will break me on a Cupra or the Golf R but might have a cheeky test drive anyway, the R is fast!
  7. Has anyone owned or test driven one of these? Thinking about getting one as company car, it would be the 2015 2 litre diesel probably with the DSG. I have read they handle really well and with 180bhp and 60mpg seems like a decent package without getting hit too hard on the tax. Would love a Cupra but need good mpg.
  8. As above mate. I had a 4 wheel alignment just before I sold the Zed on the same machine and there were no issues at all. They knew exactly what settings to use.
  9. Dont try and do it by yourself unless you have something you can safely prop the boot open with. The Zed boot is soooooo heavy without the struts!!
  10. Get that rear wiper off!! Looks really nice mate. You driver your mates GT86? Heard they are pretty slow but really great to drive
  11. would strongly recommend a 4 wheel laser alignment. The Zed really suffers if you haven't got the tracking right and for the sake of a few quid its worth it.
  12. good luck mate, hope you sort it
  13. I think it blinks through the whole process until you get to the the idle air volume learning stage where it will stay on:- "8. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 20 seconds until the Check Engine Light (CEL) stops blinking and turned ON." on stage 10 of the idle air volume learning (throttle position learning) I made the mistake of turning the ignition off then back on in order to start the car. You have to keep the ignition on just like you have through the entire process and just start the engine (while ignition is still on). Obviously if it didn't work an engine light will appear again once you start the car. If this re learn doesn't work for you then I would suggest looking at the points in the other post/link I put above e.g:- Failing that have a close look at the throttle control actuator connections. Then check out the throttle control motor relay. If the relay is okay then try a new throttle control actuator.
  14. Have you done the throttle valve re learn process? It is really important you follow the procedure exactly, but once you do that it 'should' sort it. Clearing the ECU won't do it, you have to force the throttle to re learn the position. Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning Like it says here:- http://www.350z-uk.c...e__hl__throttle Having said that the faults P1122 Electronic Throttle Control Actuator and P1126 Throttle Control Motor Relay Could it be an issue with the throttle itself? This post may also help if you read it:- http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/49851-fault-codes-p1122-and-p1126/
  15. do you have anything under the seat which is knocking the wires? Are you putting anything on passenger seat as this can cause issues as well.
  16. I ran 20mm all round with zero issues. Had a 4 wheel alignment after new tyres as well and car felt really good. Sight tramlining but only very rarely, I actually preferred the way the car felt. Great mod and really makes the RAYS fit the arch much better
  17. Unless you plan to track the car I wouldn't worry about the raw power. I had a Zed as it ticked more important boxes- It looks great, sounds great and handles well and you get a lot of car for the money. How many times do you actually take it to the limit to really find out how competent you/the car is? Only on track would you really find out. Anything faster than the Zed I would say gets into unusable territory on the roads, unless you chancing it and risking a ban.
  18. Don't worry about it too much mate. Zed looks much nicer and sounds a lot better. If you want to start pulling away from all these new BMW's and Audi's then slap a SC on it!! To many newer cars smoke a stock Zed these days.

  20. 10k miles and 3 years with the same oil........no thanks. No issue with low miles between services but I would still expect annual oil change. It's easy and cheap to switch the oil so what else has the buyer missed? Just my thought anyway.
  21. Lots of Zeds for sale which you can pick and choose from. Personally any crunching and I would walk away fast. Who knows what the rest of the gearbox is like.
  22. Thanks chaps. I'll certainly keep an eye on the forum and yeah I recommended it to the new owner.
  23. Elder Scrolls got slated big time. They should just do another one offline like Skyrim
  24. Recently sold the Zed and just wanted to say thank you to all those who helped me over the years as well as the mods and traders on the forum. The forum helped me massively as a owner and definitely saved me time and money with the wealth of information available. Promotion at work means I have a company car now which is good, but very sad seeing the Zed drive off Driving a Merc A180 which is pretty nice but no power! Decent interior compared to the Zed and easily averages 60mpg. In the future I want to get a weekend car but don't think I will get another 350. Anyways, just wanted to share my gratitude. Matt
  25. Sold!! Please lock mods thanks for the interest.
