  1. Thanks for the swathes of info on this gang! Just in case anyone else comes up against this, I changed the siren box (in the boot) and, hey presto, working siren. Cheers!
  2. Hi chaps and chappets. Alarm query if I may. Since I've had my Z the alarm has been silent, I.e. Sit inside with it armed and the indicators will flash for the standard 50 seconds but there's no sound. Had the black siren box out and nothing looks burnt. Anyone else come across this? Cheers!
  3. Cheers gang, 100% right Jonty! And I can promise you I'll be a hundred-and-odd miles south (for the most part) if we go for the same. ; )
  4. Sorry I'm late to the party but how far did you get with this Jonty? Loving those Linear Corses and I'm thinking of 19", 9 up front and 10 back but looking for tyre advice. What would you guys recommend so the walls don't look too rolled back? Payco's set up looks about right but I know he's running half an inch wider at the front?

    Boot spring

Sorry folks, I wasn't geting notifications for this thread for some reason! Thanks for your suggestions (and offers of expensive pennies), I managed to get one from ZmanAlex in the end. Happy days!
  6. Hey gang! Sorry to come on to this late but I've got a related issue. Right, when the headlights are on and I try the windcreen wash, the healamp ones go with no peep from the WS washers. When the headlights are off and I try the WS washers I get a trickle and no headlamp washer action. Could the wiper arm jets be blocked? I would have thought the two systems would only share the washer bottle? Cheers!
  7. Excellent! Will message him now. Cheers Zeus.
  8. Anybody have for sale, or know where I could buy one? Got all set to do the penny trick and realised one was missing! Don't fancy paying £30 for one!

  10. Excellent work Kev T! I'll be trying this one over the weekend. Two-handed boot openings are so last season! Not to mention the £60 saving on a used set of struts!!!
  11. Weirdly, cruise is working. It's the radio buttons on the wheel that aren't, which doesn't worry me. I'd imagine the Halfords guy's to blame there. Everything tallies up otherwise. Had a brilliant drive home and I'm loving being a Z-raver. I'll get a pic on soon. Thanks again for all your input gang!
  12. Excellent, thanks all! I agree. Letting Halfords fit your stereo is the equivalent of Joey Essex tying a shoe lace. Looks like I'll be sticking around then, eta 2 hours, 8 minutes!
  13. It looks and drives lovely, nice quiet engine with a good strong pull. The HPI showed up a colour change but it's been done well if that's the case. The only worry is the interior and cruise control issue for me. Have you guys changed your stereos and lost CC/found a way around? This guy's only had it for a year but I'll try to coax his fuel preferences out of him.
  14. I will say, the pictures do the inside a great justice. I actually think they're old pics from the previous owner's ad.
  15. Thanks for the quick replies and welcomes! Annoyingly 'swanky' was meant to say swanee but we all know how amazing auto-correct is right! Anyway, onwards and upwards... Here's the link: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201409217585992/sort/atcustom/radius/70/quicksearch/true/page/1/usedcars/make/nissan/model/350_z/postcode/ss166tj/onesearchad/used?logcode=p The heated seats do indeed work but the whole interior looks quite worn for the mileage, I.e. Has it been salvaged from a high mileage write-off perhaps? All switches are present and correct on the wheel, just the CC doesn't work...
