I haven't used chips away personally but they were recommended to me by a mate who had some work done recently - Problem is they are a franchise so it depends who you get. May be an issue with insurance if it was not a public place - Had a problems with that on a petrol station forecourt. I'd have a word with him first through your mutual friend if that's a better approach and see if he is going to do the decent thing! Quick update - Wife drove me the 30 miles to the dealers on Saturday morning and I drove my Zed the 183 miles home!?! Loving it with the only annoying thing being that after the best part of 250 miles the driver's side rear axle has started emitting a faint click when pulling away. CV Joints then? - just hope its coincidence and no sinister cover up job, I'll let you know..... Other than that happy bunny
