  5. Why not put the pairs on each side then it will look like you have the same tyres front and rear from both sides May not help the handling much be OK if you just left it parked close to a wall! Mind you if you take tha advice it will probaly end up in a wall! I know I know - as the saying goes - I'll get my coat
  6. I wish you all the best with this, I have an issue with my clutch, first thing I did was call the Dealership (came with a 6 month warranty) told the salesman my clutch is slipping.... He calls me back and says "This is wear the warranty does not cover wear" That's OK I said I have had a local garage look over it and they have told me it's not the clutch its a faulty slave cylinder ........ I'll get back to you on that ...... still waiting, but I know that will either be wear or perishable (as in the seals have gone) Lucky for me Zmanalex is sorting me a new slave cylider and I only have the one fault. It appears that my warranty dosn't actually cover anything that can actually go wrong with the car!
  7. Very Nice looks loving the EDFC neat install Are/can you using spacers? love the stance but just wondered if the rears could be edged out slightly? I know I'm gonna have to get the credit card out soon

  12. Thanks to everyone for all the help, It appears that it is probably the slave cylinder that has issues so thats a no brainer to start. In for a penny in for a pound If I'm going to change the Clutch and flywheel as well shall I go lightened? Seems the popular choice but whats it like for everyday use? (not that I use my Zed everyday) Any recomendations before I bite the bullet and shell out some of my hard earned!
  13. Well after those responses I have I'll see where that leads thaks for the swift help. I do like this place
  14. Hi All, OK 2nd weekend getting used to my Zed the clutch has always been high (apparently normal for a Zed??) Anyway I used the loud pedal a bit more than I have been and have found that changing from 2nd to 3rd under power (lots of right foot uphill) She hit the rev limiter as I came off the clutch Came straight of the throttle went for the clutch and it wasnt all the way up No2 Tried the 3rd gear pull away and I can do it with no slip if I'm gentle but it slips with a lot of power (but I thought it probably would?) Is it just stating to go - should I be looking at the slave cylinder (Levels are good) is it week springs? Any and all help appreciated Finally for those that know If I need a new clutch and I'm going to track her what's a good road/track choice? i.e. not so heavy it takes the pleasure out of town driving but will handle some track use. Thanks

  16. Hi and welcome - I've not been here long myself but its a great site - I have found answers to most of my questions and have alreay aquired a BT adapter and auto fold mirros for my Zed But you need to - Get some pics up They are fanatical about pics on here
  17. Got mine today About an hour to install and - "It Does What it Says On The Tin!" I went with the self tappers for the micro switch (so the door panel can still be completely removed) With the guide the wiring is simple enuff (I managed it) The micro switch is a little bit tricky to line up. I found that with the self tappers and a washer between the switch and the door panel on the whole furthest from the locking mechanism it lined up better. Overall I reckon a good DIY mod and I'm very happy with the result! Buster get yours ordered and I'll come over and fit it.
