You can try them - grind the end flat (or file) centre punch then drill it out I start small and work up to as big as I can - try the extractor if that fails drill to just below thread size and run a tap through it - sorted

You can take the wing off - easy to get to then or A credit card or simlar (I Use the soft plastic scrapers that you get for car filler) slide it in from the front (IIRC) it will push the clip in and the repeater pops out. If they are really tight a long thin flat blade screwdriver - but watch the paint doing that! In fact be careful of the paint whichever way you do it
