  1. I would spend the money modding and customizing your 350z.
  2. I live in MK ttooo! What other parts are coming off?
  3. Hi guys, With the new wheels I have 20mm takes it just that too far out and I dont want it too risk touching the underarch so if anyone has 15mm spacers and would like to swap for 20mm. Straight swap! The ones I have are NOT the bolt on ones but they are hub centric with a bigger centre bore than the original nissan which is why they require spigot rings (included with the spacer) I think the centre bore is 76. If anyone is interested in a straight swap PM me! Thanks
  4. what about the diameter of it, I need to know because the ones I have got are slim line....
  5. Yes, try this Turn ignition on for about 6/7 seconds and then turn it back off. wait for 1 second turn it back on, and repeat 1st step. Do this 4 times and after the 4th time start the engine and after 6 seconds it should be gone!
  6. The light is also linked with airbag issues! Seat been removed?
  7. I have heard the Ferrodo pads are brilliant! Might be worth giving them a try.
  8. +1 too much strain on the engine!
  9. People may think it is more fuel efficient but it may be more as the engine has to work harder in the lower range. Best too keep the revs over 2500 is my opinion!
  10. whats the diameter of it and also the overall length and the angle of the tapered piece. Im trying to see if they will work on my wheels!
  11. Ended up going with admiral for all my cars! £950 for my landcruiser, the zed and my golf! Not Bad!

    Spacers

Thanks for the quick response Is that a difficult job to do? Was hoping to fit myself and the first option sounds a little easier although I have read somewhere that the replacement stud option are "stronger" as the wheel is stull fitted to the hub. Im sure they are as strong as option 1 but I went along this line as I felt it was better, and also a lot less expensive. Replacing the studs is probably the hardest bit! But you dont need to take anything off other than the wheel. For the easier option you can go with option 1 with the bolt on hub ones, just make sure they are hubcentric!

    Spacers

Im not too sure about the originals. I think all the wheels are 8" wide so 20mm front and 25mm rear would be fine. Most people tend to go with the hubcentric spacers as they are good quality. These are the ones which you bolt the spacers onto the studs and then the wheel onto the the spacer studs. I however went for the replacement stud method which just involved changing the stud and buying the hubcentric spacers. Im sure you can pick up a second hand one quite cheap.
  14. I recently got a very good quote on all three of my cars on admiral! you can also bargain with them and knock it down! Worked out £1000 for the zed, a golf and the Landcruiser! Saved about £300!
  15. My toyota Landcruiser heater matrix started leaking, I fixed it up my self with some glue and no problems since, So I think they are repairable. Other than that see if you can pick up a second hand one from a breaker or ebay.....

    235 or 245s?

Im running 19x9.5 with 265 front and 285 rear. They look good and are not too stretched!
  17. I could be wrong here... But I have just painted my zed and I know exactly what your talking about! The dull patches are bits which need to be compounded out. This can be done by hand or machine. If the paint is older than 1 month you can use T-cut, if not use some 3m compound. Apply the compound and rub in a circle motion then use some soapy car water and wash it off. Easy! Also, It is recommended to leave the paint alone for about 2-3 weeks clean, so no wax or polish, but compounding is fine, as the paint needs to harden properly.
  18. A full respray is good though! This way you dont have to worry with getting a dead on match plus the body will look brand new! Will you be removing the trims though?
  19. Good Luck with it, You planning on doing the painting yourself! I can give you a few tips as I have just been through it! And I am only down the road!
  20. Golf? Dont know how much they are, maybe more than 20k. BUT they are quick cars with a 1.9 tdi and will return 65 MPG, maybe more if sensibly driven.
  21. Im not sure what they are called... I think performance.... something....
