  1. My personal view on this is that CAD D is harmless. CAD D goes under as light damage, panel damage, broken arms, dents ect Not at all Chassis damage or any major parts, like engine. The only thing that would depreciate this car more than normal 350z would be the repair job done on it. You can see from the picture that the colour match is not too bad so that a good sign I guess. To find out more about the damage, did any airbags go off. If no airbags went off, I would say that at 5k it is a bargain, but being on ebay it is bound to go up to 6k +. Looks like a good buy if you ask me!
  2. Your sig says you have a 350z - you do realise we are talking about the 370z? Mine scrapes now and again, but no biggie, the deflectors are designed to do that. I guess the 370z sits lower to the ground then!
  3. will low brake pads trigger the abs/hand brake warning light?
  4. maybe the humps and bumps in Lanarkshire are higher than the ones in Milton Keynes!
  5. I had the problem quite recent... Have you changed your tyres/wheels recently? Either that, or a damaged/faulty abs sensor.
  6. Are you guys lowered though.... Im on 19" wheels which probably raised the height ever so slightly and take humps, bumps whatever at reasonable speed, sometimes too fast and no touching or scrapping at all. I just dont see how it is possible....
  7. There are a 2 main traders on here, Im sure you will find what your looking for? Are you after an parts then.... And
  8. It is Brembo but the Original Brembo's on the 350z have a different model number so not the same! Basically those on ebay are probably made from a cheaper quality bad, still from brembo though.
  9. Yes i did have the same problem. If it is anything like mine the signal was getting through the latteral steering sensor unite which is the plastic unit the goes around the steering colum and houses the storks. It took me 3 different ones to finally get it working and the auto electricain couldnt work it out any further as its a sealed unit. I just think the jolt from an impact vibrates through the colum and detroys something inside. Best bet is see if R35LEE has any, he will know what part it is as he supplied many to me. You can swap it over yourself quite easy yourself im sure. The tricky part is somehow this unit is paired with the steering rack so i think the car is quite fussy so it may take a few different ones to get one that works. If in doubt i can give you the details of the auto electrician i used as he is only in Bedford. Hi, thanks! I managed to sort this out too myslef. Got a second hand from off ebay (one that was not involved in a accident or steering problems) and just switched it over!
  10. PM Husky! He does loads of things regarding lights!
  11. I would totally reccomend those I shown you. They look sweeeet! If you wait till tomorrow I can get a pic up for you. Good quality and long life. Very Bright as well. Regarding replacing it is very simple, remove the plastic front wheel liner, turn the steering wheel the opposite side and you should be able to reach at the side and unclip the side light bulb holder and replace the side light. Also the sidelight goes in a certain why. I have placed an order for 2 pairs of these bulbs you recommended, hopefully I receive them before the weekend! What tools will I need to take off the wheel arch liner? Can you please show me some pics when you get a chance? Thank you all for your help and advice! I'll upload some pics up later! All you need for the arch liner is a small flat screwdriver to pop out those fixing things and a screwdriver to unscrew the side fixings that hold them in place. It's a pretty easy job!

  14. Im not a massive fan of rays but these loook pretty cooool! God job!
  15. Just did that and 0.13% difference sorry, I was putting in the wrong tyre sizes so yeah, they will work! wouldnt you prefer wider tyres though?
  16. use this website. Put in the original tyre size from the zed (245 45 18) and then the 245 40 19 and you will see the difference! Also, why so keen on those sizes, did they come with the wheels? http://www.alloywheels.com/tyrecalc.asp
  17. Or you swap the wheels, tighten them up and then drive down to the mechanics and get them to torque it up probably!
