  1. Few burnouts and bit of hard braking will sort that out (thats a joke before anyone tries it!) yep - gently, gently been trying to keep the revs fluctuating as much as possible by keeping to the back roads - couldn't avoid it this morning though - steady 40-50mph I know everything is still tight and been doing the usual show off with mates (by that i mean taking everyone for trips out), but have only used half a tank so far and its averaging 23mpg - so at this stage i consider that
  2. hi all done about 200 miles now - have read else where, that it would be a good idea to replace the oil and filter at around this mark to get rid of the "new" engine contaminents. Is this recommended, what have others done ? and if so - what oil and filter should be used cheers Andy
  3. I forgot to mention I'd agreed half a tank of fuel as part of the deal - when i went to pick her up, he said he couldn't remember what he'd agreed on the fuel, so..............he filled it to the top .............. Result

  8. sorry threefifty - but the stories about TT are still all true my neighbour has been out of TT for 2 years and he's still getting bill demands from them - it took him 18months just to be able to get away (out of contract) and astoundingly they've been threatened with legal action, you name it and they still insist on billing him
  9. Big thanks to Jim for helping me out on a laptop related problem - all now sorted and back up and running cheers M8 (thought he could have a thread all to himself )
  10. I think I'd have to disagree with you on freewheeling - correct don't use the brakes, because you have wasted the energy getting there, just use natural engine braking. Also when freewheeling the engine will use fuel to turn the engine over and keep firing, however, keep it in gear going downhill, just take you foot off the accelerator - the momentum keeps the engine turning ie use gravity to power the engine not petrol I am no mechanic/engineer - so feel free to shoot me down
  11. and the rose-black ones are even faster Everyone knows Quartz is the fastest colour - thats why they had to limit it ah yeah.... but I got a go faster stripe with mine - thats gotta add another 5bhp at least
  12. and the rose-black ones are even faster

When I win the lottery that is the kit going on mine I quite like the look of the quad exhaust, but I believe these are just for show in this case ? Oh no its not: http://www.zeleperformance.com/en/parts ... /item.html But £3,322.09 oouuucccchhhh !!!! i saw a different one on one of the US sites, which was the standard single pipe, then split into 2
  17. Yes he is, just enter "EH 370z" (with no quotes) into the To box on a PM and it should find him. Toby is his name - he obviously isnt paying attention today - he's normally very quick on these threads He did respond on the previous page. Lol, how rude, he must be off selling cars to non-Zedders right now. Ooops, missed that, yes Toby said hello on page 1 he obviously hasn't been keeping up with this thread tho - he definately would have commented by now on the "spare" time a salesman has

  20. erm.... I wasn't given a choice ?? but as its on the black rose colour (black would be the same) it's not too shouty - so I'm ok with it on the white, however, it's very distinctive
  21. hmm - there's another 350 around here then ?? nope sorry mate - will be picking up my 370 next friday (7th), and have spent enough what have you replaced the Z with ? hopefully see the Karmann around soon then

    my 350z so far

the other side to having a white one is that all dirt spots show up very easily ie dead flys, live flys vomiting, tar spots etc etc I've had both colours and am now going back to black (ish) (black rose) so bottom line is its one negative thing or the other - neither argument wins
  23. quick - trade it in and get a CRV........much better.......I have one, so it must be
