  1. There's more than i was expecting, however one of the closest ones to me is a guy who tripped over on his way back from the pub and died from hypothermia. wouldn't have thought that is relevent to their data.

That was the concept of the STi version i think mate. I'm not sure about all the polotics but with subaru having designed most of the car maybe they have reserved the rights for a force fed version. Turbo version would be great for aftermarket tuners but it might get the purists grumbling a bit.
  3. Cowie's Dyno results with berks viewtopic.php?f=131&t=54691
  4. I had the invidia gemini fitted a few weeks ago and it is VERY easy to live with day to day. i think most of the volume still comes from my pop-charger. It has a nice grumble and sounds great when your caning it, but apart from a slightly throatier idle you would be hard pushed to tell it from stock when driving normally. I know we had a member on here who had one fitted with berks then uprevved recently and they had very good results too. Heres a couple of Vids i took this weekend. This is just a bit of info. after a K1 it might not be dramatic enough for you
  5. Whe i saw them i thought they were a sort of template that you would stick on then pack it out with filler or something so it was smooth. didnt realize they just stick out like that. reminds me a bit of those joke cardboard bodykits that people make or a wheel arch / set of stairs, but each to their own i guess
  6. The first thing i will do tomorrow is show it to my boss but it's best to be on the safe side
  7. I'm all for this sort of thing as it frees up the petrol for people like us to use when dicking around in silly cars untill the infastructure gets better as talked about above or battery technology takes a massive leap forward though, the EV is far from practical.
  8. I was completely in stitches after watching this. funniest viral kinda thingy i have seen for a long time. what do you think? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKZxBDO5VR4
  9. When i go to the kendal asda i allways park in the first bays i come to which are wuite far from the front of the store and usually empty. the funny thing is that the ones further in are all disabled / kids ones so my mates who drive right to the front normally go straight past the entrance, round the back and end up parking further than me anyway. I noticed when the lakes meet was on a few of you left your cars in the spots where i normally park. great minds think alike eh?
  10. Here you go, forgot i had taken these when i first got it: The tipe are available in stainless / burned titanium in rolled or normal ends. my mechanic said its one of the best made systes he's ever installed and that it was a shame for it to be under the car where no-one can see it. speak to tarmac if you're interested pics:
  11. Standard cats. allthough i would like to get some HFCs or de-cats next year after the insurance / tax / MOT at once I'll get some pics of it when its clean. the cars not normally as filthy it is on those vids
  12. Have a look into motordyne systems too
  13. It was just a little jab of throttle as i was turning so i wouldn't have to -point turn it . Wanted to get it filmed and get out pretty quickly lol.
  14. Hi guys. just a quick vid i took this morning of my Zed in a tunnel. I recently fitted an invidia gemini exhaust, sounds really great. I also have a JWT pop-charger. Sorry it's not great quality but it still sounds pretty beasty Hope you like it
  15. +1 can't seem to view the vids though
  16. Seb showing his masterclass again today. Maybe this will shut up all the know-alls who still think it's just the car. Great result for button given his history of qualifying in Brazil. Lewis must be pretty gutted with 4th. Webber or one of the McLaren boys need to get out in front after the first corner or we will have another race dominated by Seb... unless the team orders cime into play. Rain will certainly make things interesting but let not forget Seb's first win in Monza. Hope its a fun race, usually is in brazil.

BRZ STi oncept. Production model should look a lot like this allthough the wing, splitter and quad exhausts are unlikely to make the production model. shame as they make it look really focussed. Turbo-charged version could potentially be 300bhp allthough this one has an N/A engine. I think it looks great
  18. Im sure a couple of thousand BHP can be squeezed quite easily out of the veyron. it is a 8 litre W16 with a turbo on each bank! they could have got 1000bhp out of one of those V8 engines but i'm sure they went for the massive displacement so it was reliable.
  19. Why do you dislike alonso so much? Doesnt everyone... I think he's one of the coolest guys on the grid. Brits just dislike him Because of his clash with hamilton. But i prefer alionso to hamilton anyday
  20. Why do you dislike alonso so much?
  21. Let me guess, they are allways telling you it needs to be lower? I used to have a 1.8t GTi which had all the engine and suspension mods you can get before going BT. It was a nice sleeper, very torquey. but anyway. I had my suspension and ARBs set up to have good roll stiffness and minimal pitch but also high enough so i could still drive it hard on the typically bumpy roads of the lake district (it would still catch from time to time though). Everyone else who i knew on the dub scene Had decked dubs that handled / rode like a bag of @*!# and broke sumps on catseyes. yet they allways used to say my car wasn't low enough. Sorry i know this is a good comments thread and not for ranting. Anyway. its nice to know im not the youngest on here. i just turned 23, got the Z when i was 22 and everyone was especially the ones who don't know that it's not as expensive as it looks from the outside. That said, one of my mates last car cost him as much as one of my frear tyres
