  3. 2 pairs of genuine nissan facelift bumper reflectors (06-08). Went to the states a while back and picked up a couple of pairs. Both brand new and never fitted only one box opened for pictures £50 a pair delivered You all know what these look like but still. Here's mine with a set fitted (again not one of the sets for sale as they are new never fitted)
  4. for power you dont NEED a new system. Mark at Abbey will happily tell you that you have already got rid of the most restrictive part of the exhaust system (the cats) and that the rest of the system is good for 400 ponies... BUT the rear box and rear pipe is a notorious weak spot and will probably rust through at some point (joint between pipe and box) now you can either leave it as is and have your uprev now with the standard system but when your rear box fails you will prob want to replace it with an aftermarket jobbie and this may mean a reflash is best (not super expensive but not cheap either) or try and source a second hand standard system and wait for it to rust again if it were me... learning from experience... get a replacement system then get the uprev as you obviously have the bug and will want to mod it later anyway so save some money and get it done now from what i hear the Milltek system will sound good with the mods you already have
  5. first thing to try is the silicone spray... the places you need to spray are a little outta the way but the best way i can describe them are if you look at the very rear of the hood (the bit that flips up to let the roadster cover lift) in the very left hand and right hand corners you will see what looks like a spring / coil. with the roof down in the position it is currently getting stuck at give these areas a good spray trying to get it in where you cant see then close the roof and try opening it again. they are like worm drives and can stick if not lubed. worth giving all the other moving parts a bit of a spray while your at it something worth noting is that the actual roof on the 350 is quite a thick material, obviously this is good from a sound proofing and strength side of things but it does mean that if its cold the material can be quite stiff. try running the car for a while with the heaters on and then putting the roof down.
  6. Bonnet lifters received and fitted. Perfect thanks

  10. Ok and now to the big fish Went for a days fishing on the Fraser river while in British Columbia..... What a day!!! Managed to hook play and land a true monster! It took me 2 hours to play on stand up an fight tackle (no chair or harness) and I was totally beat by the end of it. But it was so worth it. 11 feet long! 5 feet round the middle and an estimated 600lb!!!!! Here are the pics

  18. if you liked the TLR try and get a ride on a TLS had mine flowed and tuned, power commander and full race system.. was an absolute animal and was so much fun to ride if a little dangerous! it would head shake and twist and buck at the slightest change in road conditions... nearly threw me off just for accelerating out of a corner numbers of times but i loved it! the noise and the feel of the V twin power curve was great. and the wheelies decided it was going to either lose me my licence or my life so i sold it and got my first 12r... had that tuned and with a full Akra system and a few hours on the rolling road saw 170bhp at the rear wheel and an indicated 216mph bouncing off the limiter on the rolling road calmed down a bit now.. gone back to a limited although still tuned 2005 12r which doesnt quite have the same punch as the 2000s... toyed with getting a mille R for the V twin feel but the 12 just suits me so well
  19. do yourself a favour and dont get a harley as a first bike. they can look cool and sound great but they are a pig to handle / ride and wont make your learning experience very enjoyable or easy. yes you will have passed your test and you may think thats all the learning you need to do but believe me you will continue to learn and make mistakes for a very long time after passing your test i have ridden for years.... ZZR 600, Bandit 1200, Exup 1000, TL1000s (prob the most fun i have had on two / one wheel), ZX9r, and 2 different ZX12r (fastest i have ever been!) and have also had the pleasure and at the same time dissapointment of riding a Harley Fat Boy (Terminator bike) while in the states one year. dont get me wrong it was great! loads of noise burbling round town but as soon as you got it up to any speed or into any corner it was aweful to the point of being quite hard to ride) having spoken to a few guys that have ridden both they all say the same thing. the advice above about getting something like a fazer 600 or the like for a first bike is spot on! the handling and the bikes manners will help you not hinder. also i hate to say this but you WILL drop your first bike at some point... it just will happen... prob better to drop an unfaired and possibly well crash protected and cheap to repair fazer 600 than a quite expensive to repair Hardly ableson every year i toy with giving up the bikes... and every spring on my first ride out of the year i remember why i love em! good luck and safe riding whatever you decide to get
  20. hello bud, you dont say how you are getting over? ferry to calais? le havre? to be honest the roads in northern france ore not the greatest driving roads in the world.. the odd suprise can be found though i have found that the old coast roads tend to be much more interesting than many of the inland roads. northern france is very aggricultural so tends to be quite flat with straight flat roads but head to the coast and there are some intersting bits to be had. i was happily suprised how good the road from calais to boulogne sur mer was as an example if your near a vist to Honfleur is recommended.. not for the driving but its just a nice town for future referance the Ardene area has some fantastic roads and scenery to go with it and is only a couple of hours from Calais have fun and dive safe
