  1. Agree with AJR... best thing to do is to try both out... you will find one easier to use (sub menus and adjustment wise) than the other.... i like Nikon but a good friend of mine uses Canon (he has some SERIOUS kit!!! photographer by trade). he sometimes has to use mine to take shots of me and i use his to take shots of him.. thankfully we are both good enough to each other to set the camera up to need minimal adjustment otherwise we would both be lost!!!
  2. some of the more technical shots i have taken dont end up looking 'great' if you know what i mean but the difficulty in taking them makes me smile when i look at them..... the few below for example... not great as pictures go and slightly out of focus but with the kit i have they were very difficult to achieve.... you try taking a pic of a bat in mid flight in the middle of the night! lol
  3. if you think Zeditis is bad you wait till you start getting into photography... slippery slope!!!! i have a Nikon D7000 and about half a dozen lenses in prime and zoom. for my kind of work i found the 50mm lens to restrictive as you tend to need a lot of space to frame the shot due to the crop factor on non full frame cameras so i ended up with a prime 35mm and a range of zoom and wide angle lenses.
  4. to quote xmassteppes.... "Owner from Manchester here! Running an HR zed in British Racing Ginger (or temper orange, not everyone's cup of tea but I love it!). Currently have Milltek exhaust, Berks HFC and Uprev remap from TDI, and slightly worried this is the start of a very slippery slope!!!"
  5. never good to hear but its only a car and when things pick up again you can go out and buy another. hope it all pans out ok for you

what he says..... the only way you will get the roof down on a nice cold sunny winters day is to either park in the sun to warm the roof or drive with the heaters on full to warm the roof up before you try and put it down. the roof material is quite a heavy one and becomes quite stiff when cold. if it does it again just put the roof back up and dont keep trying as you can cause problems trying to force it!
  7. no.. you have the architects to thank for that. i am structural so do the drawings for what actually makes it stand up and work rather than make it look pretty.. lol
  8. Just dropped the peg on google maps WOW! .... its an awesome shape... bet it sounds great! i did a lot of the drawings for the construction of the hindhead tunnel.... currently working on a 7.5 mile long 7m dia. tunnel! wont be able to drive through it though :-( mind you when its in use you wouldnt want to either!!!!! lol (super sewer!!)
  9. "accept bad luck take the £300 and move on" this..... i would never have spent the 1k on a £300 runner in the first place... there is little point in buying the car back and dropping another 1k on it... i guess he could TRY sending all the reciepts for the recent work to the insurance company to see if they will pay him out on it but i doubt it will happen
  10. for pictures google is your friend... just search '370z 20s' and you get loads of pictures
  11. thats a CHEAP set of 19s... couple of hundred on a full refurb to any colour of your choice and they are still super cheap... good luck with the sale
  12. you have it all wrong.... there is no better way to spend your money and get fulfilment..... i quote the late great George Best "I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered"

  15. hey if you like it then go for it but i think it makes an already heavy rear end look even heavier.... i agree it needs a spoiler but a much more subtle one suits the lines of the roadster in my opinion....
  16. Happy birthday! we all put our hands in our pockets and bought you a set of tyres for the Porsche....
