  1. i didnt get these directly from you... although they are Rotas..... have hi res if its what you need
  2. all that said... 245 on a 9.5j rim might be a bit stretched.... 255 / 40 / 18 front 275 / 40 / 18 rear front rolling radius 330.60mm 2077.22 circumference rear rolling radius 338.60mm 2127.48 circumference difference 50.26 circumference 2.42% almost bang on the same rolling radius as stock rays too
  3. looking at it you might think about going for 245 / 40 / 18 front and 265 / 40 / 18 rear front rolling radius 326.6mm 2052.09 circumference rear rolling radius 334.60mm 2102.35 circumference difference 50.26 circumference 2.45% pretty close
  4. stock rays take a 225 / 45 / 18 and a 245 / 45 / 18 front rolling radius 329.85mm 2072.51 circumference rear rolling radius 338.85mm 2129.06 circumference difference 56.55 circumference 2.73%
  5. the aspect ratio isnt a fixed dimension... a 275 / 35 doesnt have the same height sidewall as a 225 / 35 for instance. the aspect ratio is a percentage of the tread width, in this case 35% of the tread width, its not unusual to have tyres of not only different sizes but different aspect ratios from front to back you need to work out the rolling radius of your current set up then adjust the width and aspect ratio of your new setup to be close to the original so as not to upset the TCS
  6. i know a bloke who not long after passing his test was in a multi story car park looking for a space, had just passed one then thought "that will do i wont find a better one!" so stuck it in reverse and went for it only to back into the front of the car behind.... minor damage to car but very dented pride and it was a busy car park with lots of onlookers..
  7. the ECU is set up to expect the rear wheels to be of a slightly different size / rolling radius (larger i believe) than the front and it can throw the traction control out... some experience the problem some dont..
  8. sorry just noticed you are already trying to sell.... shame as you have only had the car a short while
  9. i would question the sanity of doing stuff like that to sell it... if you are thinking of doing it then do it now while you get to have the benefit of it especially if it comes with a 6 year warranty
  10. 6 year warranty! thats not bad
  11. is your hood bad then d?
  12. https://www.carhoods...&productId=2605 although that is £440 ex VAT

    Droolers

was looking at some pictures the other night from our recent trip to the south of france and suddenly noticed this pic... everyone bar the woman in black busy taking the picture is looking at my 350 rather than the stunning view behind them! lol
  14. the only company that i know of that makes one is smoothline in the states and they are not cheap... add shipping and import duty and it will be VERY pricey! http://www.smoothline.com/nissan_350z.php not sure how good the fitment is on these either why do you need a hard top for a bit of snow? just go out there and brush it off each day?
  15. so they would just give the original car a new reg.... Hmmm interesting
  16. My misses has a 1 series and i certainly wouldnt say its an ugly car... quite the opposite
  17. sorry to hijack the thread here but........ can you transfer a reg from one car to another if the reg you want is the original that the car was registered with and not a private one? will the DVLA reassign a new reg for the original car? does that make sense?
  18. then get out and drive it......
  19. its generally accepted that the stock box is actually pretty good and its the CATs that restrict the flow.... i would imagine it would be a bit louder but its still going to have the weak spot where it joins the mid pips at teh back box end... this weak ness is the main reason most end up replacing with a new box
  20. sit down and do the maths... work out exactly how much the Zed is costing you to run then work out the same for the shed then factor in how much not running the Zed into the ground is worth to you and if the maths stack up go for it. Mine is a weekend or trip away toy, an expensive toy but a toy all the same. my wife has a car (BMW convertible) and i have another car (BMW diesel Touring) i also have a bike which i use for 6 months of the year to get to and from worth then it sits in the garaged sorned over winter. for me the maths doesn’t add up! the Zed is a silly expense that financially we could do without but we can afford it so we do it, you only live once and all that... recently we did some thinking about consolidating cars... selling the wife’s car and the Zed and getting something a bit silly... 4ltrs and V8... yes once we done the maths it actually worked out we would save a grand a year by doing it! the wife would have to use the diesel a bit more but it still added up. trouble is we both like the Zed... and she likes her BM so we would be selling two cars we both enjoy to buy one that we are unsure about. sorry just realised that a lot of the above doesnt actually help you out...
  21. plus if its from Alex you KNOW it will fit standard replacement clutch http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63723-dual-mass-flywheels-350z-vq35de/ Exedy clutch kits and if you wanted to lightweight flys (there are downsides to the lighter flywheel... noise being one of them) http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63721-exedy-clutch-kits-27500-ultra-light-flys-34500/ PM Alex http://www.350z-uk.com/user/9648-zmanalex/ tell him what car you have and he will list all the parts you need
