So, it appears that my time with the 350Z has hit almost six months!!! Yup, my DVLA tax reminder turned up at the weekend. As much as I enjoy my car, as a serial car changer (generally every six months, although the car before the 350z - a Celica GT4 - was only a month or so)... I'm now going to have to start looking for something else as a replacement from my 'list of cars I must own at some point'. Current faves are a R33 GTR or a TT Supra, but who knows what I'll end up with. I'll get an advert up at the weekend no doubt, then I can start the whole process again. Amazing how quick the time goes when you're having fun! They say time goes quicker the older you get, hope it doesnt keep on speeding up or I'm screwed :-)

if I didn't have a Nismo exhaust on my 350 (which sounds superb and doesn't drone), then it would be the Ark for me. Sounds good and looks fantastic!

2004 Gunmetal UK 350Z. Full service history from dealers and laterly Japex. Black leather, factory bird-view satnav, climate etc etc (everything works as it should) Genuine and rare Nismo exhaust (sounds immense) V2 rear spoiler. Bluetooth. Bose (with ipod in). Rays alloys 117k miles.

on the last photo the wheel camber looks well wrong. It just looks like the wheels have been rested against the discs and not bolted up. Is it just the pics making it look like that or does it need a serious alignment done? (love the exhaust) :-)

Not doubting you (more just curious), but how do you know for sure that the one in the advert is your old one as the number plate isn't visible?

I always thought the studio stuff was filmed on the Wednesday before the airing. Maybe thats why this weekend has been cancelled. Would be funny if the 'empty chaired' him like they are proposing to do to Cameron. Hammond and May would have a ball!

As the weekend weather was so nice, I took a little drive into London really early on Sunday morning just for the hell of it. Got to say that my Nismo exhaust sounded absolutely mega through the tunnels (Limehouse Link & Rotherhide) but there are soooo many speed cameras around that part of town. Seemed like there was a camera every few hundred yards! Would be very easy to get major points in a very short period of time if not careful. The only thing I found missing from the Nismo soundtrack was a few over run pops & gurgles. Would high flow cats solve this for me (not keen on decat due to the hassle of having to remember to change for MOT) cheers Michael

Got a Nismo on mine which sounds lush, but i love the look of the ARK

+1 for Japex. Been using them for years with lots of cars. Really top mechanics with huge knowledge on the Z. Drop them an email for costs. They normally come back to you pretty quickly.

How does the Scangauge II measure the fuel level if it's the sender that's faulty?

did you change the O rings when you did yours? If so, where did you get 'em? Nissan?

Hi all am I correct in thinking that on the UK 350z, the alarm doesn't 'chirp' on locking/unlocking? I've seen some instructions for a JDM/US spec car where it can be switched between silent and chirping, but don't think theres anything in my UK handbook on it. Is it possible? ta Michael

You don't have to provide a phone number on PH adverts. I never do on mine, I always ask for email communication in the first instance when I'm selling on PH.

Really?!?! Either theres something seriously wrong with the geometry or you've never driven a car before. I can't believe a 350Z is a lot harder to control than a 600RR (unless youre driving on ice maybe?) I'll put it down to excited enthusiasm, I'm always over the moon when I get a new car :-) Congrats on the purchase, looking forward to the pics
