so the bose has finally started playing up...took a lot longer than mine did.Best thing to do,is remove and bin replaced mine with a sony single din h/u.If you want to take a look give me a shout. I dont have any problem with the Bose at the moment but reading threads its only a matter of time. Please pose pics if you have any.

Neilp I bow to your obvious greater knowledge on the workings of AC. My comments and advise were not to be taken as an exhaustive or difintive solution to the problem but one of an alternative. Sorry that this subject has hit a nerve with you and that you had to reply with you first sentance wholy unnecessary.

Firstly make sure that the re-curculation button isn't in the on position as this is a common fault which causes condensation. Secondly to greatly reduce the condensation effect do not use the AC this does remove the condensation but only short term. The AC not only removes the condensation but cools the windscreen down thus when warm moist air from the passenger hitting a cold windscreen surface causes condentation. The trick is to get the windscreen and the ambient internal temperature the same so that no condensation forms.
