i had no cats in my old car and the reading came back well above 1 stuck some agent in it went for a 40minute burn and it came back at 0.02 or something so maybe worth a try its only a tenner i think anyway or like others say get codes read or find a friendly m.o.t man

if you take it out the day your having a retest your allowed to drive it on the road just make sure you book it with the garage so theres proof then do above before hand and go straight to m.o.t

+1 on above take the car for a long trip really heat the cats up stick some cleaner in tank and go straight to m.o.t retest and should go through fine

As my new rear bumper is almost done the rear pipes need to be 1inch further apart than a standard 350z exhaust. I currently have Berks Cats, HR ypipe, Fujitsubo mid pipe and back box Im going to get a custom exhaust done for the rear pipes...if i have straight pipes from the fujitsubo centre pipe to tips is that gonna be ridiculously loud (i.e no back box) is there that much quietening properties in the back box?? any info appreciated

thats your problem! i was thinking same thing or get up on two then jack the front up and slide under i want someway of getting my car up about 5ft in the air cant wait till i move to a house my garden is getting rebuilt

have all the ramps facing the same way then drive up them?? 2 in front of front wheels 2 in front of rear?? would be bit dodgy as ramps could move
