may well do but i done a few bits on the car already and no one is none the wiser until i tell them and it will be gloss too, ive seen it done on a few cars including a R35 GTR (in yellow) i love it when people say 'just stump up the cash' (have you seen my bank balance ) everyone has there way of doing things this is mine if it works great if not then no one will try this one again

theres a wax you put on the car before you spray acts as a protector between the paint and original car colour and makes peeling much easier..plenty of coats and is not as peelable until a hole goes through it...this is based on having my front splitter and wheels plastidipped for a year both are fine and have more stonechips on my front bumper and none on the splitter at all (they just bounce of it) Havent really got the funds to get it wrapped by pro at the moment until find out how secure my job is after funding reviews etc

After much hard thinking and a couple of test pieces today, ive come to the conclusion im rubbish at wrapping! So in a bid to be different im going to plastidip the whole car white (two tone with black/carbon fibre) im doing this for few reasons 1.im bored with silver now 2.if i **** it up, can peel it off again 3.having used the stuff loads am quite confident it will go ok 4.i want a white 350z Some may hate some may like but guess we will never find out till someone tries im not going to do the whole car at once as i dont have that much time to invest, so week by week bit by bit the whole car will get done (and if it starts not looking good can stop and rethink plan) Tommorow i start on the window pillar bits will upload pics as i go along

i think i had some oil or something on hands and seems to have eaten through it!! it is nearly 10 years on though too, im looking forward to results may just spruce up the momo and sell it on couldnt you just retain the buttons then and put it on what ever steering wheel regardless of how many it had to begin with?

heres the momo one , the spine looks the same...im guessing the plug at the back of the oem one is for steering controls (which this doesnt have) the other two plugs from momo are for airbag and horn do people reckon this will go on ok or would need some sort of adapter still??

il upload a pic of one of the steering wheels i got, the oem nissan one i got is at my friends down south so will try get him to take a pic for me and heres the pics of the condition of the one on my car at the moment (could exchange that if you wanted?) Im quite happy with that wheel as it is, a buff up and the silver bits in orange leather would do me dandy

i got a momo nissan one so not sure if i need an adapter or not thats why need to see the back of an oem one not sure if the centre spline is the same or not?? All the ones on US forum all have pics without airbag in them mines got an airbag in it also hence needing to see one with airbag still in it to see what the plugs look like from back of wheel Thanks GT4 that would be massive help

anyone ok then if i end up in A&E with an airbag in my face dont say i didnt ask

i think it stayed the same mate otherwise bonnets prob wouldnt be interchangeable...finally getting fixed then

As my other spare steering wheel is miles away i wondered if anyone had a pic of the back of theres??(preferably with airbag still in it) or know the diameter of the hub bit that fits to the rack im changing mine to a momo one and am little confused with fitament

looks great worth all the effort in the end and it does look meaner now. last job wing mirrors pop vid up will see what it will take to do mine now

whats the state of your radiator cap?? mine was gone which fixed my heating when i replaced, try that maybe??
