I believe so in pretty new to doing it all on my own have spent the last 8 days sanding primering and filling my rear spoiler and wheels, one more wheel to go now! Can see why bodyshops charge so much now and how many favours my friend has done me lol

If you turn your wheel on full lock you can pull back liner and cut your hands to pieces while getting the holder out, knocks some time off the overall job though

Good work jordan hopefully can track it down, ive got some damaged parts of Marks he wanted to get rid off so he gave them to me to try and fix and make use, so they are all being repaired by me and going on my zed when it goes in for an overhaul...kind of my own little tribute to him

yeah I think its a new system and they havent figured it out because i asked them the same thing and also asked why i dont get an email notification, they simply put your requote price on their I reckon around 3 weeks before its due if they dont hear from you within a week of expiry they take it off so just leave your documents on there assuming you will jusy renew, im not sure exactly how it works but end of story is if your due a renewal regardless just ring them. They seem to be getting craftier with it all

if you have opted for online insurance they wont send anything ive recently had the same thing the new policy starts the date the old one ends and it should be on there including the new renewal price so that document online is basically your renewal quote so they put everything on there until you say otherwise. If you dont they will take payment 48 hours after the end of your current policy...get online get a quote ring them haggle them down job done In fact ring them first to see if they have taken any money and when will they and then work with your timeframe to get quotes etc

Sorry to see that buddy, its down to you to make the decision I guess you will have to weigh out the cost etc but if you decide to go for it I have a passenger door with a slight dent in it, if many panels need to be sprayed its an easy job to pull out and respray, let us know if needed Good luck with chassis inspection

Day four: Multiple layers of paint and many fumes inhaled later i ended up with 3 spray masks on plenty of dust about even in a booth but i didnt know how to work everything so didnt try. removed it and left to dry for 6 hours Not perfect but was never going to be, but happy with my first solo attempt..no runs smooth just dust and crap was hard to overcome. Most importantly no paint reaction or bubbling Day Five: After paint dried it was lacqering time which i gave 3 decent coats (should of probably done one more but to late now) no runs even finish Left to dry for 36 hours brought home and will suspend from roof in boiler room at work for 2 weeks then onto a light fine sand and a buff up

+1 in the past two weeks ive messed up a front lip and a rear spoiler around 6 metres of vinyl...ooops

Good work mate great start, good luck with the bumper slightly more tricky than wings and bonnet but not far off half the car done nearly!! get the bumpers out the way and the rest will seem like childs play

I had my spoiler and roof done and looked good,im currently changing from both carbon to both gloss black, go for it looks good

That's a good idea. i thought it was genius idea to, but you have to have understanding neighbours who dont mind that sort of thing it only takes 1 grump to ruin it all for you!

same here! i park on the communal grass then can use my own tap dont worry its right infront of my flat and no one walks across it ever
