    With no v5 you have to fill out a v890 form and send it off make sure you date it before your tax expires,then its a race between your sorn and v5 ive recently done this all on the Scooby, couldn't tax till today, v5 turned up saturday sent it off feb 18,almost wouldn't tax me as on system it was neither taxed or sorned...bunch of douchbags if you ask me

    Can hardwire it in like me then free up your port took power from radio then just grounded it,make sure you ground it somewhere good unlike me so in cold weather it doesn't have it and car wont start, unplug it and car turns over fine,only happens in really cold weather though, which is like everyday lol that was a fun day trying to figure that one out

    Puts a smile on your face on sports 7 and saves a minute bit of fuel in eco mode but basically allows you to sharpen or soften your throttle response on accelerator pedal,ive got one best bit of kit i bought

    If my insurance is due to start today for a month will they let me tax it then? Few places on internet said they have got tax on one day insurance,what if i wanted to sell the car and put tax on it to help sale?

    Great thanks, reason i ask is because last year my insurance ran out same time as tax did i went in on 27th to tax and they said wouldn't do it as car insurance is due to expire in Cpl days , might of got an 'A' hole post office man then

    Im adding my other car to my policy for last 2 months of current insurance they will only let me do it in 2 4week blocks then can add properly at renewal time, Il get an insurance certificate will i be able to tax at end of month? Also got m.o.t till Dec any insurance gurus know any info?

    Yeah i know where the oil goes in lol no blue smoke from what i can see just general condensation as its cold, thanks ekona for info and chubby for oil recomendation, maybe it was a crap brand of oil went in not thick enough, well there's an extra litre in there for now

    I bought it 4 weeks ago been off road since then, that's what's bit strange about it,my friend seems to think its quite common and anything under 4 litres and it wont show on dipstick,but runs fine no noises or smoke, normal op temp, will have to just change it i think,too dark now, do you know what oil capacity is for changing?

    Thanks mate i mate dump whatever is in there out,strange thing is no oil light ( functions properly) checked stick and no oil on it added a litre no oil on stick still? And had full oil change in jan so bit stumped on that one

    Got a 2001 impreza on service book it says it had 15w 40 when it got changed but cant find anywhere on the net what it should have in it, i got some mobil super 1000 multigrade 15w40, is that gonna be ok? Doesnt say if its part or fully synthetic on bottle, any one who had a Scooby know what's right grade to use?

    head torch, heat gun, battery gun or compressor if your flush, ratchett spanners, some sort of ramp, low entry jack, axle stands, a dremel always comes in handy and maybe a vice...thats all the things i need anyway
