I will be tracking it a fair bit, however I got it in the deal so still deciding on whether to go twin or single, few threads with not many conclusions on the matter! haha you can talk how long did we have to wait to see even a braided line or something it will follow shortly when I figure out what everything else is in the box -
Jumping350 Build - Reborn 17/4/2018

So after being inspired and compelled to update my thread seeing as Gareths (GMballistic) one is so epic. I actually went and picked up my supercharger (well it has been like 3 months ) there is a lot of things involved with this S/C stuff and the box of bits goes to prove it! Im not as far ahead as G so I will break down what I have and how im going to do things and of course where I'm stuck will be asking for help, also im sure ive got things wrong so await for that to be pointed out to But may prove useful to someone who wants to do this or if anyone is interested in what you need to get, il do it bit by bit with a group photo at the end First up and most importantly: Oil considerations: start off with the basics: oil and good filter , i only have 5 litres but will have a higher oil capacity after everything (more will be revealed) Next up we have an Oil temp gauge/sensor - to monitor the all important temps (this is being wired into my door vent) Then I got a sandwich plate (I actually have one spare now) but this is to run the oil return lines from oil cooler and house the temp sensor for Oil Gauge Some people can get sump spacers but i opted for a whole sump so its baffled (to keep oil near the pick up under high acceleration/braking) and also has oil return outlets on it so when its time to install I have a choice on how I run the return lines (I also read its apparently better to run the lines back to the top of sump for heat or something?) although I dont know what adapter I need on the two outlets on the sump or what size, anyone know the name??? as ts a bigger sump it will hold more oil and help keep a constant temp - should put me around 5.5-5.7 litres some finnage Lastly and the most important bit, a thermostatically controlled oil cooler - these have braided lines running off them going to a sandwich plate I have a Veilside V3 front bumper and at the front there are two holes on each side (I think for fog lights or something) anyhow oil cooler can hopefully be positioned behind the holes for direct air feed, this means I dont have to position the oil cooler in front of the intercooler (potentially blocking it) for direct air. feed. I would then mesh the holes from the inside to stop squirrels being sucked in. so thats the holes on one side covered but what about the other side? (wave of magic wand) shazzamm - twin oil coolers I will probably need longer braided line between oil coolers (to go across front of car) and a longer braided hose from passenger side oil cooler back to sandwich plate/sump. After both of these go on im prob looking at near 7 litres of oil at least it will be cold though That concludes my oil setup for now...next up AIRY things.......stay tuned -
hmmm having a look at the net it seemd the rev up version is different, you may have to ask a trader on this one as they will have all the specs
-
i dont think you can fit a DE to a HR but you can fit a HR to a DE, what car is yours and what is the y pipe from? when I put the HR one on my DE it just pushed the exhaust back slightly didnt effect it though
-
yes i have a HR one on my DE, im sure one of the traders will be along to double confirm
-
work of art there
-
awesome tool set...dont loose the foam insert (like me) as every time you pick it up the bits inside go everywhere
-
I waited 2 years for mine! many front end damaged zeds seem to be the more common accident on the bay. As they are quite cheap to buy new your probably better off going that route specially as the majority second hand that would come up would be wrong colour anyway
-
to be fair they were never going to top ,,,,,,,,, 'all in fair warned........sold to papa bear' I wouldn't mind attending one of those auctions though but never know where they are
-
im going for an uprev ....................after i strap a supercharger to it I think it will be worth it Coldel hit the nail on the head
-
that pic is awesome

I used an old door card I had to trim away some off the plastic with a dremel and jammed my oil temp gauge in for a snug fit, so hoping I can just use this one in my door card, yes route the wires through the existing door loom Bit of a crap pic but you get the idea
-
Good to see your cracking on with it mate, Im having many large gaps of inactivity with mine at the moment, I keep laying everything out on the floor in the living room and just staring at it im putting one of my gauges in the door vent
-
id throw a baffled sump on the next engine as well
-

there is a hurricane pete im staying in!! Anyway I have got this for a baffled oil catch can. the outlets coming out of it are at an angle but im hoping I can run two lines from it still without a problem. Question is how long hoses do i need to get? and also am I able to get fittings like below pic but on the outlets I have? or AN fittings? outlets are 13mm so if anyone can point me to some links or length of hose needed would be great, is 13mm hosing ok for where ever the other end needs to go? here is where im thinking of putting it (but the other way around) any other site location suggestions welcome -
