  3. i wouldnt put your wheels on with a impact gun maybe a battery one is ok to use but you dont wont to over torque the nuts you basically got two options go little of the way or all the way.. i got battery one its ok good for undoing tight nuts...but i also have a impact gun which has much more options you will need a compressor aswell though

  5. Hi mate ive got the exact same car (off the road) mines cyclone blue though I wouldnt go through insurance it would end up costing you way more let me know what you need ive got crap loads of parts..including mugen front bumper!!!!Drop us a pm mate
  6. i would have loved to have spent 10 minutes searching but was on phone in the rain and my seats were getting soaked needed immediate response!! It seems fine now but will take it apart and give it a clean and see if that helps and look into getting another...bit of a bigger asi have a spare passenger one!
  7. right handy trick if this happens to you hold door open put keys in ingnition flick switch up and bang the bottom of the door ...window up!!! does this sound like a new motor then? window goes up and down fine now and even drops when opening and closing door
  8. Just put window down and now wont go back up ..and its raining The passenger one works fine..it hasnt been struggling or anything up to this pointanyone know were the fuse box is for it?? when i press button nothing happens no noise nothing any help thanks
  9. Yeah il prob have to just do that, 2 of the oems are at gf so will have to trek them back somehow just dont have a whole day to invest in doing all four at once
  10. im not going to do it but my rotas would still be on the rear of the car just the oems rear on the front..still sounds dodgy though and i know the TCS is a pain when it comes to this stuff Just out of interest if i swapped them over one wheel at a time but for the correct original oem 17 one would that cause it to play up also?? I just re read that sentence and ima numpoty that wouldnt be a problem cause the rolling radius would still be the same!!this always confuses me

  12. oem 17s on mine are rear 245/45/17 fronts 225/50/17 my Rotas are Rear 255/45/18 Fronts 235/40/18
  13. Im spraying my Rota GTRs and was wondering if i could put my OEM 17 rears on the front without any bother while i get the fronts done?? couple of days on the car max

  16. guess you could say the same for my zed really..dirty great big scratch on the bonnet giant dent in passenger door...dirty....would look abused to anyone but i spare nothing come the engine, cars never been near redline under load and runs great i had to buy another door and bonnet because i knew would never sell it like that at the moment with all zeds that are out there currently! Cosmetics are quite dear on the zed and some people these days cant seem to justify to pay it..but if you know a few people can get it sorted pretty cheap..if i put my zed up for sale today on here you would all say 4k max cos of damage..if i fixed it you would say 7-8k i paid £100 for bonnet and £200 for complete door (looked for well over 7 months though) OP could be a bargain if you haggle him down under 5k...if you dont mind little project can be as you want for not a lot much more money though that k&n does look iffy! mine looks nothing like that check engine history and usual wear and tear items to see what state its in

  18. F1 was ok for a bit but wearing thin with me now ive not seen GT1 sounds great..but i look forward to Moto GP every year ..the only thing predictable about Moto GP is..its unpredictable!
  19. after sizing up my decats i noticed unless im hulk i will not budge the cat to y pipe nuts so making life easier and getting another y pipe and will just replace whole section in one go!! let me know if you got one lying around am in london/surrey if your there even better
  20. see i was going to attempt this the other day too,ive got APC racing ones dont see how i can get my arm up there unless im dhalsim and if with rusted bolts .ha!!! thats why the car is not on a trolley jack as we speak!! and i have lots of skin!! want to do it but after almost burning my face off getting centre pipe free im sure my lifes in danger with this one...were you based rm cya??
  21. cheeky git I know its down to personal preference but it was more that I wasnt sure if I could use an aftermarket backbox with the rest being OEM quick answer ....yes 3 options eally 1.weld and just get through m.o.t 2.get aftermarket now and not worry about it for next few m.o.t's 3.get oem back box with likely hood of it failing at a random time but could go for a while

  23. well you might aswell go aftermarket any oem one you get will ultimately just do the same again your better to go y pipe back then you should be fine for years to come
  24. i used to use a guy from the audi garage he didnt work for audi they brought him in done my mates a5 coupe wheel (that i curbed ) looked better than the 3 untouched ones in the end worth a quote at least ring up audi and they will give you his number
