anyway as with everything i own thats ruined i plastidipped it and looks quite cool now i think..haha i dont think theres anything i wont plastidip!! But none the less my first engine dress

everyones got shiny strut bars and i wanted one soooo....I got my first engine bling item then unblinged it got it second hand cheap and it was covered in funny stuff that with many hours of polishing couldnt get it off or even shiny!!(Steve 350z thread may help solve that though!!) Anyway was rather shocked when i unwrapped it and saw this stamped in the middle

it had loads of marks on it looked like chalk but isnt!! i spent about 2 hours buffing etc and its still there!!maybe sanding it is the option to do first! it will appear in one of my threads later on and you can see my result!!

you wanna buy them?? i think they would be ok if they didnt bulge out or maybe on a different colour car,on blade silver only certain mods seem to look good. ive been inspired by others to buy some autosol and clean my zorst and strut bar ..ive had a cleaning week! hoovered it aswell

yes its been sweaty Cars been in and out of garage that time so just gets filthy again quick..next up is vinyl roof (or plastidip ) new bonnet and new undented passenger door waiting to go on! then full clean wax and clay pigeon stuff i hear everyone go on about. Wrapping is ok if your good at it i just couldnt cope with the curves!! i thought the same thing so i put 8 coats on that should rebound some of those stones

yeah looks like might have to, swapped these for a set i had anyway so no biggie may have to sling them on ebay seem if someone has them

Sunny day so i thought i would rectify some of my mistakes Firstly car got decatted early morning and its got a slight rasp at high revs but was expecting that have got a vid but dont know how to post up So im now running APS decats a HR y pipe and fujitsubo centre pipe and box for my 03 import bit of a mishmash but im quite happy with it nice tone and not overly noisy at low revs/cruising but put your foot down and all day! Next i ripped of my carbon vinyl self wrapped front lip (it was most shocking effort recorded to man i think) then i proceeded to plasti dip it then finish off with a RT splash! conclusion Plastidipping much easier then wrapping but i got it near on perfect so maybe better option for front bumper?? Finally i got these lights second hand im not 100% on them i like them but not to sure on the bulge..any comments let me know im gonna get LEDs but deciding on these or standard in the mean time and i washed it for the first time in 3 months and still filthy

yeah in 6th is labouring a bit i think but was nearly on empty and the petrol station i usually go to closed that night!!so was more worried on finding and making it to next one! i stayed at around 2k but do know i would never had made it in normal mode relying on myself not keep putting too much gas on yeah it does feel like that but jump from that straight to sport 7 and wow what a difference Ideally keep your fuel above half and generally dont worry about it

when im low on fuel its eco 5 on the throttle controller and 55 to 60 on motorway gets quite good mpg i dont get any noise except the 'donk donk' noise when i go over the lines from the tyre,s thats really annoying theres about a 2 mile stretch of it on m25

haha mine are like that already..couldnt get them fitted was one nut we couldnt get too looks like going in on the ramp to get done..werent on the best of surfaces and couldnt get car high enough..didnt want to take K&n typhoon out as heard its pain to install in the first place!! Grab that y pipe get few brackets welded to decats job done

yeah its a bit of a weird one that unless something has splashed on it from somewhere and corroded it..il post a pic of mine so you can see were the brackets are on mine

im getting my decats fitted this weekend and im pretty sure there should be a bracket that bolts to the brace were your original cat use to on the actual decat pipe...surely if it were the decats being the problem it would go from the inside out,not the outside in??my right flexi is ruined but thats because i scrape it on speed bumps (i always go over them the same angle)..could that be your problem?? Im putting a new (ish) HR y pipe with my decats, so if it falls off monday then you might be onto something

do it everyday..il walk ...take one look ..no i wont cant wait for summer either ive slightly destroyed my car ver past year but have been gathering parts all that time and finally got my new passenger door delivered today she will be back to normal for summer
