Welcome and I hope you will enjoy owning the Zed. No comparison to the M3.. I once owned a new E 46 Phoenix yellow Smg. I,ve had four Zeds since then including my current one which I,ve owned twice !
Beware Zeditis though.
I,m on my third mid life crisis so it was a natural...previously on Jaguar the Mercedes forums... This one,s by far the best.
Loads of advice and friendly interaction.
Excellent trader support too.
Thanks for the comments well pleased so far...would have gone for a 40 profile but not enough clearance on the front to match the set I also like the crouched stance with the higher tail.
Take your point with milling.it was a suggestion from my tyre guy.
Done enough for now so I.m looking at interior mood lighting as the next project.
Thanks again...Good advice as always.

Oh and I,m not a grandad yet bodyboarder !!!
Three sons 39,38,28 and still not even close to married....
Post some pics when you,ve finished the wheel setup
Big welcome.. great forum this despite one or two sharp comments occasionally.
Plenty of expert advice which will save you time and money.
The traders I,ve dealt with so far have all gone beyond just good service and generally offer very professional advice for your planned mods.
Finally,.... good job on the Mini. If you apply the same kills to your Zed it should be one to watch.
Sold my convertible in June. Great car and no problems with rigidity. Replaced with another coupe for two reasons.
100kgs heavier than the coupe so slower acceleration.
Roof up looks less sleek. However, roof down looks great....IMHO
Drove 90 % roof up
You don,t need to roll those arches with 275,s . Will post some pics tomorrow after work.
Found out today you can have the offset milled to a higher degree. Cheaper and easier than rolling. Mine are et 24 rears
I,m looking into fitting some form of internal lighting in a soft ice blue colour.
The lights will need to be semi concealed as I would like a coloured ambience as opposed to visible light bulbs.
Would like to be able to drive with the lighting on so a variable light level would be perfect.
Has anyone gone down this route before. Ant advice would be welcome.
The stretched tyres I inherited were so bad in respect of ride they the new ones have totally transformed the car.got a huge smile now.Onwards and upwards.
Falcon did a good job on the underneath with the waxoil.would highly recommend them for us northerners.
Best regards
Roger
Cheers bullet magnet.. Get on that right now.
Fitted the rear 255,s to the front and new 275,s to the rear. Perfect fit...no rubbing....totally transformed the handling and ride... Hooray. First time I,ve enjoyed driving the car.
