I've got a very stong feeling it wouldn't make any difference, try it and let us know.

Happened three times to me and not knowing which cables were which, took it in to my local expert who soldered the offending leads took half an hour. Knowing me it would have been an all morning job.

Had the same problem with mine but instead of being part of the problem my mechanic solved it by fitting them so they didnt chafe. Were they wearing stetsons and cowboy boots, sounds like it.

I agree had the same problem just moved the Mot to the service day, much easier for you to combine them, and certainly looks better for selling. Plus finding out you existant problems on the service before the MOT gets all the problems in one basket.
