Yeah its going through insurance now national windscreen are coming some time this afternoon . not really got used to it yet think last night was the first time i had properly given it some welly and it did scare me but at the same time i had a smile like the cheshire cat had the back end slide out twice yesterday when doing less than 20mph black ice isnt nice. well now looks like im going through admiral rang autoglass and as they arent admirals prefered choice she put me through the admirals window claims bit and aslong as it a repair its free but if its replace i have to pay the excess. now to read my documents to make sure it doesnt affect the ncb as on the other forum im on someone said they lost the current years ncb but kept all his previous ones.

Random question what oil do the 350's take? never checked mine as only had it a week but when i went to view it dan checked it for me.

With only being with them a week i dont fancy it dont know why just dont i know its what they are there for but still just dont see the point in claiming for something so little a week into it . Just me being weird . edit - if thats the case then they are both passenger side so no where near my line of sight .

They should do i know but still dont fancy claiming a week into the policy i know it wont affect anything but for the sake of £70 i might aswell just get it done myself rather than go through them or do it that way.

It will be claiming its first repair shortly , mum noticed 2 chips on the window which i can only assume are from the either yesterday or today while driving about as i have never noticed them before so will be a call to auto glass once i get paid. quite a pointless thread other than to see if anyone has used autoglass before for chip repairs? other than that i love it and i can now see why everyone says it puts a smile on there everytime they drive it , just gutted she's filthy at the moment really does need a good clean but got to revise and not got the time now till after christmas so unless i take it to one of those hand car wash places its not going to get done . i have reset the ipod and it didnt seem to work this morning, however once i unplugged it and selected and album it seemed to work, i just dont think it worked when it was set to all songs.

Tried that still didnt work even put a cd in and tried selecting that and then the ipod will have to have a proper play again tomorrow when its light and i can see what the buttons do .

Hi all, just wandering if anyone can hazzard a guess as to whats all of a sudden happened to either the head unit or the ipod (more ipod i imagine) basically, plug it into the the HU and it says reading and then goes to the normal screen with play, skip etc on it but it wont do anything after that. so the head unit recognises its there and will play if i press play on the ipod itself first then plug it in, but i cant control the ipod once its plugged in as the ipod goes to the 'connected to accessory' screen and the HU refuses to do anything so im very confused as its worked all day up until the last 2 attempts which is conviniently just after i had it plugged into the pc and updated some music on it. so anyone got any ideas whats happened as google just comes up with ones for sale . Every car has a different plate I`ve had a few different plates over the years though I know i meant it in the sense that they are all standard jumble of letters but personalised ones are a bit more well... personalised and have some word/meaning behind them if that makes sesne which i doubt it does .

Just to make it different to every other car imo. I have one on the ibiza which was a 21st birthday present, dont think they are worth the thousands they sometimes cost but the ones that are reasonably priced i think are good.

im with them too and all i can say is i love them they gave me 5 years ncb on the 350 even though i only have 4years 10/11months atm will have 5 on the 12th Feb.

I've started doing the rear fog light thing to people, really winds me up almost as much as people who park up at the side of the road with main lights on i dont mind sides but main beam really winds me up so i tend to flash them and they still never get the point.

Was on the radio news the other day, some insurance companies are claiming they are modifications so up your insurance or dont insure you so it is true . 1) i cant see how a change of tyre is classed as a modification i mean whenever i change my tyres i dont call the insurance and tell them i have x type of tyre so dont see why people rang up in the first place. 2) insurance companies really are stupid for charging people more for improving the safety of a car really does wind me up.

Lowest i have had is -8.5 the other morning. however yesterday was well bizarre driving along m18 i think was 1 and dropper to -3.5 in the space of a minute :| was proper weird .
