  1. hide and seek! I might drive around Farnborough one day and see if you spot me.
  2. Hi Lyndsey, Thanks for all your help and for having a look on their website. That degree looks good, I think I need to have a proper chat with them about which direction to go in and of course, find out how much it will cost me. I'm feeling a bit more confident that it's possible to achieve a degree now. Steve
  3. Thanks for your help guys! Just working weekends and full salary Would I need to be in a job relative to what I want to study before I start studying or can anyone do these courses and complete them and move on to a job in there chosen field? Reason why I ask is I'm currently a self employed decorator and have been for the past 10 years, I've hit my limits with it and was never my chosen career, i just fell into it at a young age. I've always been interested in building websites and computers from leaving school. I think it would be very hard for me to get a job in web development without any qualifications and experience. I have good GCSE's and an NVQ level 2 and plenty of city and guilds, but nothing in the I.T.
  4. I think I will investigate the OU further, I have looked at them and requested more information from them but what they sent me was pretty pointless because it was the same info as on the website. Stuarty, I think Scotland is a lot more generous with funding towards higher education than down here in the south. I think it would be near impossible for me to get any help because I work. Yeah I also saw that other post. I'm looking for a change and I have to make it happen, my current job drives me insane!
  5. Wondering if anyone can help on this one. I'm looking at doing a home study course/degree. i cant study full time because i need to work to pay the bills etc. I've looked on the Internet but nothing positive is coming up really. Does anyone know if it's even possible to study for a degree at home? There must be something out there surely! I'd like to study Computing/networking/web development.
  6. Maybe the mods should clean up this guys for sale thread and if people wish to discuss the differences between Nismo wheels and other wheels then maybe we should start another thread. I don't think it's fair to fill the for sale post with a discussion.
  7. Don't be bullied into feeling like you have to reduce the price. They are your wheels and you can try and sell them for what you like. The market will tell you whether they are too expensive or not, by whether they sell or not. People can pass comment but it's up to you in the end. And to the person comparing them to wheels that cost £600 new and and even more Sarnie, I don't think anyone is bullying the OP into lowering the price, just offering them advice and a price guide compared to previously sold wheels. The OP doesn't have to take this advice as gospel. Abc123 if you want me to forward you photos of the condition that my wheels were in so you can compare the condition I will be happy to do so.
  8. Harsh! I think you will find its how they are made which also makes them expensive, they are forged rather than cast which makes the lighter and stronger.
  9. I paid £1450 for a near perfect set last year from a member on here (webber) and sold another set I has for £1200 with new Kumho tyres as a refurb project as the paint was bubbling exactly like yours are, there was also some corrosion on the centre caps, Keith (Maccaman) bought them off me. He has since had them refurbed and they look perfect now. Obviously it's up to you what you want to sell them for, just thought I would give you an idea on price.
  10. Correction Grlnet, Scorcese and Wahlberg are Executive Producers the Director is Tim Van Patten. Still I bet it cost a fair bit just shows if you invest in the right people you can make amazing shows.
  11. whoops i'll edit my post dont want to spoil it
  12. I absolutely love this program, i cant get enough of it! The actors in it are spot on and play their roles exceptionally well. I just watched the last episode of series 2 this morning, Jimmy is my favourite character. I think Al Capone (played by Stephen Graham) will feature more in series 3. Amazing program i urge anyone who's into the American gangster era to watch this series.
  13. Give me a shout If you want to sell the nismo exhaust.
  14. +1 on removing the stickers especially the worlds biggest nismo stickers from the side skirts! Maybe leave the back one on.

  17. This is amazing!! Never even thought about using a real car seat.
  18. Nice mate, my first Zed was an azure with full nismo kit! I loved it, so much so I bought a chilli red with a nismo kit a year later. The azure is a lovely colour.
  19. No idea but the Mighty Owls won today!! (from a fellow fan) We are unstoppable, bring on the hammers!!!!
  20. I could always live in the Zed once the bank catches up with me........
  21. I wish I had £600!! My wish list is getting bigger!
  22. It could be a genuine mistake, but changing pads should be standard procedure for a place like that. Do you know what pads they use? There are a couple of Jap specialists near me in Camberley that i know of, one in fleet (i forget the name) and one in Normandy, Eurospec, which i have used before for a clutch change on a previous Zed. If you ever need an parts, speak to the traders on hear ZMANALEX for example has pretty much everything. CS also sell a lot of parts, i recently bought my discs, pads and brake lines all round from them. For all your exhaust needs, speak to TARMAC.
  23. +1 You don't want a 16 year old apprentice from Halfrauds messing with your Zed! leave it to the specialist! There are plenty of Jap car specialists out there, who are passionate about them, you always know your in safe hands. The only thing I buy from Halfrauds is cleaning products, tools and bulbs!
