Hi When my car is cold at about 3000rpm + my exhaust sounds a bit tinny . This only happens for the first minute or so anyone have any ideas what it is ? Thanks for any replies. Newbie

I bought an alfa only 4 yrs old low mileage and had nothin but trouble with it - always electrical problems . But when it was orking it was a great car to drive and was really nice inside .

Hi , Iv read on a different thread about a " penny trick ", Someone asked for a guide to be written . Could someone please explain what it is and does ? I guess it is somethin to do with the Z and i have plenty of pennys lying around . Thanks James

Think thats a great deal , Wish i'd waited a few months now before getting my z . There seems to be lots now below 8k, But iv had a great few months

Why not see how much it would cost delivered ? and save a days holiday. Try e bay, They have courier services - type in size of package where you want it delivered to and people will bid for you trade .

IMO Alfa s are too unreliable i had one 4 yrs old and spent money after money getting it repaired normally electrical faults, I sold it and it broke down and needed a new gearbox only 6yrs old an 60k miles . Have you looked at interest free credit cards keep moving the money around and you'll only pay the initial 3% balance transfer fee. Alos lots of cards are doing 12months 0% interest on purchases.Good way of having interest free loans

IMO you'll be fine with no tax once i got pulled by the police for no seat belt and he found i had no tax his words were "o thats the dvla s problem they might fine you for this" it was 10 days over i had completely forgot. I then sorted the tax out and never had a fine . As you have a genuine reason ring the dvla ask them to put it on file and im sure you'll be ok to drive.

Hi Im after some mud/splash guards have done a search on here and not found what im after. Where is best to get them from ? How much for a set ? # Would they have 350 z on them ? Iv checked e bay and only found one set . Are the guards a standard fit ? - would all guards fit on my z eg are the hole centres standard ? I know theres lots of questions but as you can see from my name i am a noobie Many Thanks James

Yeah thats the same as mine you can only see it if you look closely The hole for the plate to fit in seems to taper so i guess the plate would need to be trimmed down to hide the holes

Thanks I think its probably not the correct size i will have to get a better sized plate, does anyone on here sell the correct sized plates for JDMs? I Find it strange why there are two holes either side of the plate tho, someone must know.
