Personally i think you would be best off as syvee said making up with the lad as the police will do zip about it without any serious evidence. As Syvee said take him for a spin tell him how much you like the car and show him what he was lookin at. ask him to keep an eye on it. Otherwise im sure you'll end up out of pocket and the kid will get a slap on the wrist at worst.

Think they are the standard alloys but the front drivers side is not good Has anyone ever used the halfrauds alloy repair kit as i was tempted yesterday to but it.

Hi My alloys have been kurbed by the previous owner . How much is the going rate to get them repaired ? I'd probably get all 4 done as there is small damage to the rears,and the fronts are quite bad. Also iv seen a alloy repair kit in halfrauds are they any good ? Thanks Newbie
