Thanks all for the fast replies , my argument to the insurance company would be that - how does the average jo bloggs - me know that any parts have been modified ? Do all insurance companies expect people to know if their car is factory standard, as 999/1000 people wouldnt have a clue. The car is a 53 JDM so i guess the lights are not standard and i guess the japseed exhaust is also not standard but i love the sound of the exhaust and it will definitely be staying all the best Newbie

Hi , Iv recently bought a Z , and when i spoke to the insurance i told them the Z was completely standard . On closer inspection i have a japspeed exhaust a better air intake filter also not sure bout the lights but i think they are LED s not sure if these are standard. Should i tell them (Admiral) are they likely to up my premium? Thanks for any replies. Newbie

Hi Does anyone on here offer their services to replace a HU? I live in herefordshire i will travel within reason and im willing to pay. To be honest i dont want to do this myself as my ICE knowledge is nowt. I dont want to go to halfrauds as im sure they wouldnt be competent enough. Hi , I picked my silver z up today and have been most of the day. Really happy with the car but its now dirty . To be honest iv never been into detailing but i now cant wait to start. Can you please help me out id like a basic detailing kit for now and i will get more as i go along. Also what methods should i use ? read alot about dodo and it sounds . Hi I will be picking my z up in a couple of wks .depsoit paid just awaiting a few minor things . The problem is there is very little service history with it . The car is a 53 plate and done 69k miles.Should i do a p3 ? Or should i just get it serviced by a local garage oil filters etc. I personally think it would be a waste of money to send it to a nissan dealer for servicing. Any advice greatly appreciated. Hi , I was searching the web tonight for a Z and came across the skyline 350 GT. Has anyone owned one ? or what are peoples opinions ? i really like the look of them personally i think they are very similar to a Z also have two back seats .Thanks for any responses. Newbie

Hi i went to look at a Z today an was happy with what i have seen with the Z . But my only concern is will a Powakaddy freeway fit in the boot? I play a lot of golf, when i had a look today i was suprised how little boot room was in the Z. Many Thanks Newbie

Hi , I read a post about imports being restricted , is this correct if so to what ? are all of them restricted ? And how much does it cost to have it removed ? Also what does JDM stand for i know it s an import car but cant figure it out . Thanks Newbie
