  1. I'm glad my second car made the original list! I have a Honda Civic Coupe for work, only cost me £1200, if anything goes wrong I'm not going to be massively out of pocket as I know the cars inside out and parts are cheap. That said I bought it nearly 6 months ago and not a thing has gone wrong, all I've had to do is service it. My reason for owning it is I don't like driving my Zed to work, it has to be parked in a tight car park (dents) and after a week of driving the slow civic it feels so nice that said I'm going to see about an 03 Audi A3 Quattro TDi today.
  2. Good info Husky! Maybe I should then, I used it yesterday and my brother was saying "pull over and call me you're just breaking up constantly". Might take the plunge and book it in then.
  3. Only people I can see paying that are insurance companies through claims.
  4. i guess the moral of this whole story is that it pays to shop around!! Too right mate
  5. I was going to buy one for my old 350, started reading into it and changed my mind as apparently the intake system on the 313 engine (and I suppose other 350 engines) was designed specifically for the best air flow and many said adding a 'pop charger' would be undoing good work. Best to spend it on an exhaust I guess, of course this is my opinion though although I used to love 'pop chargers' or as they're called induction kits when I had my Hondas, vtec sounded mental, but I recently bought a vtec again for work that had an induction kit on it and the first thing I did was rip the thing out, I must be getting old at 24
  6. The 07 313 is the best of the 350's really, but as stated they're all closely matched. Or you could go for a 370?
  7. Saw this last night in Cardiff just past the prison at around 11:45pm, Nismo front bumper from what I could see but I could be wrong it was dark and I was going the other way. Looked nice
  8. It's happened before, cars have been imported and they've managed to mess it up somehow putting a plate on it relating to the year it was imported not first registered.
  9. That was the comment I got in my 350. I've all but given up on the 370's bluetooth
  10. I don't think he shut that Corsa door properly!
  11. Loving the Prelude mate, the Type-S is great, good looking 350 as well
  12. I paid £16,900 for my '07 350, it spent most of my ownership in Nissan. So I PX'd it in against my 370, got £15,500, after 3 months of it being somewhere else, I can only assume having a new gearbox fitted it's up on their forecourt at......£17,999!!! Very overpriced in my opinion as it's a non GT (only thing missing is the electric seats and Bose system) but still.
  13. Haha result! There are some decent people about after all.
  14. Before I step foot in my cars this year I will have paid £1400 in road tax, that's not including the duty I pay on fuel and the tax I pay on insurance. So where's my f'ckin money going?
  15. This petrol has been around for a long time here. Shell is miles away, BP is way overpriced so Tesco has been the fuel of choice!
  16. It depends if you want a car specific one or one for yourself. I personally chose one for myself and carry it over from car to car.
  17. Bigger man than me Chris, I'm keeping my man points by not admiting to these things.
  18. I couldn't do the whole veggie/vegan thing, I love chicken too much! Each to their own though, I respect that having lived with a Vegan in uni.
  19. Dont worry you are not alone Geoff ive got an original Black Black Edition. I think the Quartz must have been an after thought by Nissan otherwise they would have called it the Quartz Edition ....... wouldnt they? Haha I'm not on my own then. What is the ratio Ebisu to Quartz?
  20. Just wait till next year just kidding, always nice to hear a car flew through it's MOT. I rebuilt a car that had been sitting for about 2 years a while back, completely new brakes, bushes and even engine. Put it in for an MOT and it flew through, I was so happy
