mmmm i just replied on teh for sale thread, as the screen is advertised as 8" so are you sure those specs are correct? (As teh picture on the box makes the screen look alot bigger then the one i have) My 7" only just fit in with all the casing etc, removed. You can go bigger but you either need to mount somewhere else or do very carefull dremel work...

I dont want to be an arse and spoil a sale, but i am using a 03 cubby for my carputer and there is no way in hell without alot of dremel work you will get an 8inch to fit. (To get my 7" in, I had to remove all screen casing etc.. However maybe you can do something else with it.

I must admit, for me i have never been a fan of Golfs, i just think that everyone has them, and i mentally link them to estate agents, and sales men who have a company car. Really common, and dont look special to me at all, also personally i think they just look really dated, and as they are so common if you do see peeps who mess with extrernally them they start to look a bit chav. IMHO... On the other hand the Scirocco i really like, test drove one a year or so ago and was really tempted, i have seen a few really nice examples and by all accounts are realativly easy to tune up...although price wise its in a different league...

had the wierdest illusion looking at this pic, when i first looked at it i thought you were only selling the very top of the gear knob, as the bottom just looked like a shadow. Then i looked again and could see the bottomw wasnt a shadow! Sorry just thought i had to mention it!

IN my experience I would be suprised it was all over, when i moved into my flat we had various debt collectors etc coming round for the previous tenant who had left over 2 years before, for things like unpaid parking fines, speeding tickets, credit card bills, car finance etc.. I would have been more tempted to write and tell them why your not paying rather then ignore and face problems later on. (someone posted an article recently about something similar with Bath Spa station carpark) If its all sorted well done though! thought it would be worth an update as lexx was asking. in total i recieved: 1st letter, 2 pages, small sum asked for 2nd letter, 1 page, large sum asked for 3rd letter, 1 paragraph, short repeat of 2nd letter END

personally i would stay well clear of drilled sensors, they look fugly and a bit ronko imho, go with the parking dynamics invisble ones and follow my guide

jeeze dont want to sound like another moaning git but i am just going through buying my first house, and our mortgage broker, and my bro who is in property have both said by the time the olympics is here rates will be at 3-4% which means a huge increase, on thier £600 unless they have fixed. So if they are struggling only paying £200 a month to thier mortgage they wont be able to rent for that price. My GF for a bit of fun does baby sitting and easily makes £200 a month with out trying and thats just for friends of friends etc.. which is bonus pocket money ontop of her salary. So first things first the wife needs to get a job, baby sitting is easy money and is in desparate demand, or at least where I am. You can change anywhere from £9 - £15 an hour - all cash in hand so no tax worries initially, and she would therefore only have to work around 40 hours a MONTH not a week a MONTH, thats 10 hours a week, 1.4 hours a day.

Funnily enough thats exactly what i have just done brought mine down and my misses down by over £400 in total. So i am now £650 with protected no claims, extra personal cover, £250 excess. which i think is bloody impressive considering im only 25, and I have my missed who is 24 on the car aswell. They brought her insurance down from £700+ with £800 excess to £400, £500 excess on her Mini Cooper s with me on it aswell. Really chuffed. (with out protection mine would be sub £600 i am paying around £90 to protect but kind of figurered at my age its worth doing)

But wasnt the conclusion (nothing against the seller and only from what other people have said) its over priced Personally still think they may be beasts under the hood but they look fugly, would prefer to wait few years and stick with the zed then get a GTR then go for a car that looks like my nans car inside. my opinon again and i know lots of people love them!

+1 I completely agree when i was looking i was only looking at gt and above, wouldnt consider lower. even if your going to strip it out, you need to put it back to get a decent sale price, and with the bremos, heated seats and rays you will struggle imho..

just looking through some of teh vids now, annoyingly the work camera meant i have to rencode from MTS format (pain in the arse) and also annoyingly the wind means you cant hear the engines roaring or the tires being burn away! but Will keep you posted

by all accounts you over inflate them to protect the tires from getting un even ware as you are doing high speed corners etc.. (They recommend it for heavy cars) edit - Just thought i should quickly ad by "they recommend it" i meant Carlimits.

Hi Guys, So off to carlimits tomorrow, dead nervous (never done anything like this before in a car thats actually mine!) But i did read that i need to over inflate the tires to the max pressure they can take, and when i asked peeps on here said i would be able to see it on the tire... But there in lies a problem unless im being a spaz i dont see anything that says Max pressure is XX i do see a do not inflate past 40psi. They are the standard recommended bridgestones! Any help would be great! thanks!
