  1. Does sound like comp arm joint - braking would load up that joint and make it less likely to rattle.
  2. As you say, most likely it is the compression arm ball joints. We have them in stock: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=78_169_293_483_1406&products_id=25429, also have the bushes if you find the clunk is elsewhere: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=78_169_293_483_1406&products_id=25342 Can send them main order and can also fit them and align the car at our workshop
  3. I did some messing about with various air intakes on my DE engine. On full throttle at high rpm you get about a -0.04 bar pressure drop (0.96 bar absolute) with the standard pipe work and early air box. With no pipe on the throttle at all (so no air filter or AFM) this goes up to about 0.99 bar abs. Heres a graph (I like a graph) - blue is standard, pink and green is with a bigger trumpet in the box and red is with no box or pipe work. The only reason to do NA tuning is if you prefer it or if you're regulated by race rules. FI or engine swap just makes more sense if you're after more power.
  4. As the others have mentioned, de-cats will give best power, high flow cats will give slightly less power but no emmissions problem, plenum spacer give more top end power too. HFCs, de-cats and spacers in stock http://www.h-dev.co....oducts_id=25344 http://www.h-dev.co....oducts_id=25343 http://www.h-dev.co....oducts_id=25052 We do a package, which is cheaper than the individual components, if you'd like it fitted and remapped with Uprev: http://www.h-dev.co....oducts_id=25356
  5. Not 100% decided yet - all depends on cash and time, as usual. I'll let you know if we run into problems
  6. I used Syvecs on my 200SX a while back and the TC is great when setup correctly. At the moment the car is just on road tyres - I've not done any competition work in the 350Z yet. I did quite a bit in my 200SX, mainly sprints, hill climbs and Time Attack.
  7. Thanks Car is good - got it running on Syvecs, I think the TC will be useful in the wet. Still weighs as much as a house though - would need to get a lot of weight out of it. And I'd have to lay off the pies for a while
  8. Which series will you be racing in? Is this a one off at Brands? I was considering Nippon Challenge or equivalent next year.

    Up rev?

Its all in the mapping - on a run my 350 will do ~30mpg, and thats not hanging about either. I've mapped it to run leaner than 14.7:1 in the cruising areas and it seems to work well. Probbaly won't do the cats much good...
  10. Just checked - looks like my PM box was full. Should be a little emptier now
  11. Not sure why that is? I've had PMs recently from other people. I'll try and find out whats going on, in the mean time can you email me? jez at h-dev dot co dot uk
  12. Traction control is disabled, but the stability program isn't. The stability program will auto brake the appropriate wheel when it thinks you're about to spin.
  13. Disconnecting or switch the yaw / lateral g sensor does stop the stability control. Pretty much essential if you take your car on track - having the braking system apply the brakes going into corners is bloody annoying.
  14. Cheers Doogyrev We're just off J13 of the M4. Get in touch if you're interested - servicing info is here: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/index2.php?page=350ZServicing
  15. It shouldn't be detectable to Nissan unless they are specifically looking for it and comparing fuelling levels etc. So very unlikely. We can flash it back to standard if required, free of charge.
  16. Agreed - not sure why my laptop had the extensions enabled - my work PC doesn't have the registry entry at all and works fine. It only seemed to be the combination of my laptop and this web site - other web forums were fine. Anyway - I've got a fix and if anyone else has a similar problem then hopefully this will help them
  17. I don't think it was as my Macbook works fine using the same wifi connection at home - just seemed to affect my Windows laptop
  18. Its usually drop links or compression arm ball joint - both in stock
  19. The 370Z we've dyno'd do tend to make a bit less than the quote power figure. The traction control has to be off to run the car on the dyno (as far as the car is concerned it's spinning its wheels like mad and not going anywhere). We can dyno tune the 370Z and I think we're the closest Uprev dealer to Falmouth - still a bit of a trek, we're near Newbury in Berkshire, just off J13 of the M4. We're also a Milltek dealer, so we can supply and fit a system for you. Cosworth panel filters are in stock We're currently doing a deal on remaps if you book in during October: http://www.350z-uk.c...00-off-mapping/ Give us a call if you're interested.
  20. I set the Tcp1323Opts to 0 in the registry. It used to be set to 3 on my laptop (which had the problem) - just checked my work PC (which doesn't have the problem) and the registry entry doesn't exist Got it from here: http://www.speedguid...stry-tweaks-157 You need to fire up regedit (take a backup and be very careful using this - easy to screw things up). Navigate to this setting: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters Tcp1323Opts="1" (DWORD, recommended setting is 1. The possible settings are 0 - Disable RFC 1323 options, 1 - Window scaling but no Timestamp options, 3 - Window scaling and Time stamp options.) Mine was set to 3, now set to 0.
