  1. Welcome to the club. You say you have 350z Touring, you in the states then?
  2. Cheers for the opinions guys, I think I might go for it I can always remove it if I don't like it. Kaminari. Well the wheels are pretty much level with the arches now and I wouldn't really want them out any further. I would love to lower it a bit and get rid of some of that arch gap but unfortunately the lip and skirts won't allow for it if I actually want to be able to drive it anywhere. Why thank you kind Sir.
  3. I've been thinking about it for a while but just can't make my mind up. I love the look of my front lip but wondering if this would give it a more aggressive look. As it is Dodgy photoshop but you get the idea Opinions please Also, if I did it and didn't like it,how easy is it to remove?
  4. That looks nice. Welcome to the club.
  5. Car looks good mate. I think the wheels are the nicest of the OEM 18's available and in black, with the rest of the black accents, suit your car nicely. I like the spoiler too. IMO looks better than the Nismo. Similar to the V2 but more subtle and doesn't look like it's been put on backwards like the V1.
  6. Yeah she was, cheers, Only got rid of her last summer and really didn't want to. I didn't drive her much the last few years due to using the Supra as my daily drive but still very much enjoyed her when I did. Unfortunately I lost my storage and we didn't have room for them all at the house so had to get rid. I used the money to get the 350 though, so not all bad.
  7. Yeah, Just one, My '73 Mk3 Cortina 2000 GXL. Bought in 1997 for £250 put it in a shed and sold it in 2009 for £3500. I generally keep my cars a while. I had my 300zx 8 or 9 years... And my Supra 6 years... I love the Zed so can't see my getting rid very quickly.
  8. Did Pink Floyd mostly play to dead people then?
  9. On an average drive I get about 23 -24 mpg. To give you an idea my average drive consists of a few gentle miles round town, a mixture of a and b roads, hard acceleration joining national speed-limits then cruising along between 60 and 90 leptons with a few overtakes thrown in for good measure. Luckily I rarely spend time in traffic so that probably helps. The above was with the full Vortech set up including the Split Second Timing Piggyback and in-line pump and stock injectors. I can't tell you what I'm getting now with a large fuel pump, Return fuel system, large injectors and Uprev because the Computer can't scale for the injectors so always says around 40 odd mpg and I know that's not right! I'll know more after a few more tanks of fuel and if I can be bothered to work it out. To give you an idea of difference, I did remove my S/C cog belt (you can do that with the Vortech) and drove around 150 miles of mixed driving, but mainly on the motorway and averaged 30 mpg. So not a massive difference. The added by FAR outweighs getting another 5 or 6 mpg.
  10. The 2nd picture! You thought he was serious in the first?
  11. The 'other' site has been down for 30 mins or so , surely someone is having a laugh? That can't be coincidence can it?
  12. Great thread! If I was to pick one band, at one moment in time, that cemented my music/life style of choice it would be Nirvana and Grunge Here's my jackanory to bore you all. I always had an interest in music from a young age due to my Dad being a Keyboard player and teacher, but as a child I loved the pop thing and found myself happiest when listing to Shakin' Stevens and Michael Jackson. Although my first and favourite Cassette was Electro 10 and that was I don't know where it came from 'cos my mum was into the Beatles and any 80's disco she could wiggle her arse to , and my Dad was into Pink Floyd, Led Zeplin, Kinks etc.. (He actually wrote a song with the Kinks as a teenager but that's a different story) So...Me (Just turned 13) and my brother (15) were on a caravan holiday with the parents at Camber sands and we meet these 3 girls in the camp-site arcade playing Double Dragon. They were from Southampton and were a couple/few years older than us. So we got chatting and got invited back to their Caravan for a drink (and we were hoping a snog was on the cards as we quite liked two them ) We arrived in their caravan and the joss sticks were already burning. We shared out the White Lightning and MD 20/20 while the girls made some funny looking cigarettes. Out came the 'Wog box' or 'Ghetto blaster' what ever it was called at the time, and I was blown away by the Grunge. Nevermind had just been released and that was the first of many albums played that night but I was hooked. We had a great time and soon became making it a very memorable night and holiday. A week later I bought Nevermind and Bleach and in the months to follow, Sonic youth, Mudhoney, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins were all members of my now growing collection. That year Me and my Bro' learned to play guitar and drums and started years of being in various bands. Through my teens my choice of music was mainly Grunge/Alternative/Indie or older stuff such as Hendrix, The Doors etc... Basically anything I could either jump around to or 'smoke' to. and If I wasn't 'gigging' with a band I was at a festival. I did also very much liked the alternative dance...Prodigy, Leftfield, Chemical Brothers, Goldie etc.... So I suppose that night in the Caravan shaped my life in a way (well my teens anyway) but as this isn't my auto biography I'll shut up now.
  13. Yep, as Neil said, you've pretty much got to add 30% to the price by the time you get it.
  14. Welcome to the club. Nice looking motor. It is a strange one. If you are happy that's what matters but bare in mind that the car is actually a couple of years older than you think it is, and the price should reflect that. Personally I wouldn't pay 09 prices for a car built pre 07.
  15. Welcome to the club. Some pics would be nice, and what wheels and exhaust have you gone for?
  16. Last gig = Chaz and Dave Last Album = Foo Fighters - Wasting Light.
