Hi Ken..whereabout in Nottinghamshire are you? Unfortunately there isn't a lot of ind garage options for us in the Midlands. Your best bet would be CS(one of the traders here-PM Mitz) in Leicester. Personally i take my car all the way to R35LEE's Falcon Performance garage in Middlesbrough. Then again, i spend most weekends in the Northeast.

i had the redstuff on..TBH not notice any difference between that and the OEM pads performance. The redstuff is quite dusty though. Retrospectively i should have gone for the yellowstuff.

Nice wheels suit the Zed

It's the same with mine pre-facelift <06..no difference even after i had replaced the clutch.

There is a place in mansfield that has Hawk eye alignment system. Was going to have my wheels aligned before i decided to sell my Zed. http://www.hawkeyealign.co.uk/index-2.html Not had any personal experience with them though but i was quoted £80 to do all 4 wheels.

If you look closely in the headlights..they are a bit like the Audi's. i might be wrong..they might be non functioning ones. I am not a bit fan of the drl as the fog light(like the new E Class-now that is fugly).

The previous version is a bit marmite..did like them when the were first out until i saw lots of ladies in them over the years. I kinda like this one each to their own Like the M-styled side grill and the daytime running lights in the headlights. I agree Merc can be better in the looks department.

Me neither Paul..the previous one look a bit too girly and small. Think they got this one right. Can't really afford a SLS AMG, this is the next best thing. They think it will be out Summer this year. The price on the road will probably be around £30k onwards i'd imagine. It comes with an optional panoramic roof that changes colour to a darker roof at a touch of a button

+100000 what Lexx said about Falcon Performance. Lee and Dane knows the Zed like the back of their hands. And if you need any almost new pre-owned parts rather than brand new OEM parts, they could source them in a matter of hours. Personally i won't let Evans Halshaw touch my Zed..not sure about the one in Boro but the one in Mansfield, Nottingham is rubbish. Avoid Evan Halshaw like a plague! I don't have my Zed anymore but i will still be going to Falcon for my beamer's future needs..AND i don't even live in the Northeast. That says a lot. You can't go wrong with a performance garage that serviced high end supercars and they are part of the "Good Garage Scheme".
