  1. A large point of order: £64k is STUPID, STUPID money. You can buy these 2 for the same: Maserati Spyder 2004 @ £24,000 Nissan GT-R 2010 @ £40,000
  2. I don't get. Seriously. I didn't get the other "poor parking" post either. What's poor about it? The car parks empty and they've parked in a straight line straight away from the mud which the car park owners should have cleared. I'd have done the same.
  3. First off, buy the best brakes you can afford. £1k should do it. Then, if you get faster than the brakes, make the car faster.
  4. Looking forward to it bud.............. I think you might have to be gentle with me this time. The old lady is close to retirement............ Post away with your vid. Not sure I've seen it
  5. The only basics you need to sort are big bollocks and big brakes. If you are prepared to drive on the limit, you'll be able to keep up with most of the M3s, 911s, Caymans. You might even catch up with £40k GT2s and overtake a 370Z.......... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_f222otgpbw&list=UU4DDF1Q6InWXkVKscz1ij7w&index=2&feature=plcp Have a look at below to see what you're going to get for your money. My car has had £2k spent on it to get 30 extra horses. Keyser's car at the time was nearer £10k spent on it to get 350hp ish (Chris, correct me if I'm wrong) Pick what you prefer............. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vm01EKqxanc&feature=related
  6. Well my GF says I'm insensitive so this must prove it.. I stand corrected.
  7. Fairly sure if alters the throttle response Fairly sure it doesn't. Interested to know what experience you base that on? I have a JDM auto.
  8. Fairly sure if alters the throttle response Fairly sure it doesn't.
  9. For me, the D1 Spec throttle controller is better value. Have both on my JDM and still have the D1 on most of the time, even after a re-map.
  10. "Have not tried tiptronic yet with power button........" Power button is there to hold the gears in auto. When in Tiptronic, it does nothing.
  11. Why can't you believe it? Just seems abit of an odd paring, but then she had a privileged up bringing,so probably moved in those sort of circles anyway. Love the youtube video, very saucy. Previous hubby below so she goes for brains, not looks. Count me out!
  12. Colleague just bought a good Hyundai Coupe for £250.. Just buy a shed and mothball the Z.
  13. I think I might just agree with you..................
  14. Whoooooooooooooooooosh. And it was gone.

  17. Ooooh - I think there is a surprise coming...........
  18. Was that not the whole point of the spudding ceremony today? The rise today was on expected spud and then the piccies filtered through. Horn (HRN) have now released an RNS in Canada after their market closed to make it all official. They have 60%, RMP 20% and RRL 20% Horn Petroleum Commences Drilling in Puntland, Somalia VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 16, 2012) - Horn Petroleum Corporation (TSX VENTURE:HRN) ("Horn Petroleum" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce the spudding of the Shabeel-1 well on the Dharoor Block in Puntland, Somalia and is currently preparing to drill ahead to a total planned maximum depth of 3800 meters. Drilling operations have also commenced on the Shabeel North-1 well with the setting of the 30 inch surface casing and the drilling of a 50 meter pilot hole. Please see attached photos. To see the photos associated with this press release, please visit the following link: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/hrn116i.pdf. The Sakson 501 rig will be used to drill both wells which are expected to take approximately 90 days each for drilling and evaluation. These two wells satisfy the first exploration period minimum work obligations of the Production Sharing Contracts for both the Dharoor and Nugaal Blocks. They are the first oil exploration wells to be drilled in over 20 years in the country. The Shabeel and Shabeel North prospects are located on a Jurassic aged rift system which is part of the same system that has proven to be highly productive in the Masila and Shabwa Basins in Yemen that contain an estimated 6 billion barrels of oil*. Both prospects are very large fault block prospects with internal most likely estimates of potential oil volumes of over 300 million barrels of recoverable oil. Source rocks are expected to be rich Jurassic Kimmeridgian shales in the deep portion of the rift immediately down dip from the Shabeel prospects. Reservoirs are expected to be sandstones and carbonates of the Lower Cretaceous and Jurassic systems analogous to Yemen. Horn President and CEO, David Grellman, commented, "The commencement of drilling in the Dharoor Valley block is a major milestone in the evaluation of the oil potential of Northern Somalia. We have had very strong support from the Puntland regional government and the local communities who are all keen to see development resume in the region after prolonged periods of internal strife. These wells are the first to be drilled into the deep areas of the rift basins and will be key to unlocking the hydrocarbon potential of this unexplored prospective trend." Horn Petroleum Corporation is a Canadian oil and gas company with assets in Puntland, Somalia. The Corporation holds a 60% interest and operatorship in the Dharoor and Nugaal blocks encompassing a Jurassic Rift Basin on trend and analogous to the large oil fields in Yemen. The Corporation's shares are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "HRN".
  19. I bet you feel relieved today! I would of been sharting my pants daily. If this can go up bit more tomorrow and I can just take 3.5k I'll be happy! Not the 5.5k it was last year but its better than a kick in the stones. I sold £4k worth only because it has to clear and be in my bank and then on to building society by next week. Otherwise I would have held. I expect further rises tomorrow with a spud RNS and maybe another RNS shortly after to catch out shorters,
  20. WTF do I know?? Don't forget at the start of this month I was £100,000 down in 9 months..........
  21. At bloody last. Unlike last time, I took some profit and put it somewhere sensible........... (paid off 10% of my investment property mortgage) I think there is more to this spud than meets the eye. Some think it has been drilling for a while.......
