  1. My portfolio is..........wait for it...........green (well, for today at least - still £78,000 down overall) RRL - up 20% XEL - up 13% RMP - up 20% SQZ - up 12% SAC - up 11% Can't compute...........
  2. ?? RRL reached 23.5p on March 9th 2011, they have never been higher, so I can't see how you have an average of 27p. Unless you're broker is charging you 20% commission. It's a very high risk sector, share and market but if you can afford to, averaging down would be a good idea. Mind you, why listen to me............................................... As a cautionary story, if I had sold on that day at 23.5p, I would have made £64,0000 as I held 400,000 at 7.5p at the time. Unfortunately I believed all the hype and inexperience told me to hold. I've traded hard in them since as they swing wildly and have "made" £30,000 on those trades. Currently, I'm £20,200 in the red as I hold 317,000 at 12.9p. So if I sold tomorrow I'd walk away from the RRL story with a profit of £9,800. Not bad, but it ain't £64,000 so I'm staying long. My target is 50p and a £150,000 pay-day but the self-control I'll need to not sell in to a rise is, I think, beyond me. Latest (credible) rumour is that there IS a significant find in Puntland but Horn (drill operators on behalf of RRL) refuse to release the full news until the end of May when the Horn directors have the prices for their share options set. They obviously want the share price as low as possible during May because the option price is determined on an average share price for the last 30 days. If they'd announced a 200 million barrel find last week, HRN would be trading at $4 and not $0.80. Good luck to all. I'm going for a lie down. It's tiring work, this share stuff. Your right, i miss-typed. It was 20.7p my average, not 27p. Still, I doubled my holding of them on Friday buying a load at 6.98p which has bought my average down to a more sensible 13p(ish). Have to just hold on and hope they eventually hit our targets! Well, chart analysis (not mine I hasten to add) shows a bottom of 5.65p some time soon and RMP going sub 11p. RRL is a trader's share for the foreseeable future. I'm happy to post my trades from now on. My first target is 10p to sell the 50,000 or so I've bought at 8p. Here's my current unsold RRL trades. I do look at entries like buying 25,000 on 4th March 2011 for 20.14p and wince. Why not the feckin sell button stupido - ouch! 3. Just read the first 57 pages of this: http://issuu.com/petecomley/docs/monkey ... ode=window I urge anybody thinking of investing to read it also. It's a real eye-opener.

  5. I like your definition of "a few" Bob.......... Tuned Sunset Z...black wheels......Castle Combe. Yum Yum.
  6. Good work. I pulled at 81p giving a 48% profit. Have you held in to the 90s then? A bit preoccupied with a £45,000 bet on RRL/RMP at the moment - see below. Company Shares Cost Avg. Price Price Cur. Value Profit/Loss % LSE:RRL 300000 £ 39,649.38 £ 0.1322 £ 0.0930 £ 27,900.00 £ -11,749.38 -29.63% LSE:RMP 12000 £ 5,114.17 £ 0.4262 £ 0.2825 £ 3,390.00 £ -1,724.17 -33.71% Looks like Africa Oil, who own Horn (the Puntland operators on behalf of RRL/RMP) have sneaked out a report after trading hours in Canada saying 2 pay zones discovered. It's a long time to 7:00 am on Monday when RRL/RMP may release a statement...........
  7. This might help - refer to Page 6 for review. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=46376&start=75
  8. Blah blah blah "supercar costs" blah blah. er........ it IS a supercar and the £1350 monthly costs for Chesterfield's F430 didn't come at an outlay of £35,000 I presume. The new Zonda 760 RS costs £1.5 million and does 0-60 in 3.0 seconds. A tuned 2009 GT-R will beat it away from the lights. I'd buy one except for 2 reasons. They're too big for "B" road hustling and they overheat on the track. I'm currently thinking 370Z Black Edition with Stillen supercharger would be very nice indeed. Or a 996 GT3. http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=S ... model=370Z
  9. Easy. And he shall now be known as "Al"
  10. Deposit received pending full payment. Mods please close thread.
  11. This is particularly nice.............. viewtopic.php?f=32&t=59662
  12. Indeed, if those figures are to be believed he's done 1 million miles in the last 8 years, that's an average of almost 350 miles a day Pete. True. Luckily this car is also a boat: "the 1800 and its intrepid driver drove from the United Kingdom into Sweden to see the car's original birthplace"
  13. Sorry. No idea. Blueflame will know. https://www.blueflameperformance.com/ca ... ystem.html
  14. If thats still here by the end of the month id be massively tempted, will have to go check out some sound clips, but for a catback system thats good money i think (get paid thats my reason for hesitation haha) It's in the loft nicely tucked away so a deposit will secure it as yours........................ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwrcu1wTtuc&list=UU4DDF1Q6InWXkVKscz1ij7w&index=16&feature=plcp
  15. Thanks Dave. The quality is amazing. I couldn't believe a Scorpion when I saw it up close. Thought it had been welded by Stevie Wonder.
  16. Excellent. Now do the bumper tuck..............
  17. Ahem..........this is nice. viewtopic.php?f=32&t=59662
  18. Little bump for everybody sitting at work looking out the window thinking: "My stock exhaust sounds rubbish. Wish I had a high-quality piece of kit to make it come to life and add 5bhp......................"
  19. I'd say it was A1.5 condition. The quality is amazing (check those seams - puts Scorpion to shame) but there are a few carbon deposits I can't shift. Luckily all of these are hidden unless you look closely on your stomach lying on the road. There are some very fine swirls where I've polished too vigorously too! Centre pipe not photographed but in same condition.
  20. New they are £699 plus postage. https://www.blueflameperformance.com/ca ... -350z.html
  21. As my lovely girlfriend says every night when she finds me slumped over the keyboard, frothing at the mouth: " should have, could have, would have..............." Quickly followed by, "fancy a gin?"
  22. XTR.............. 45% drop at one point. Luckily was on-line so bought 50,000 more @ 1.1p to average down. Now got 200,000 @ 2.5p All good fun..............
  23. You and me both. Had 22,000 RMP at 11p and sold them with a tidy £1,700 profit a while ago. That's only £8,000 less then if I'd held................. Mind you, I've traded RRL to the point that I now own 200,000 shares which have cost me -£3,600 so not all bad. PS - SNM on the TSX. Worth a look.............. As is MES with a 25% fall today. Gotta love a 20-hour trading day. LSE/TSX/ASX................
