Westminster doesn't care for anything outside London. It really doesn't. Not because they are based there it's because London is on paper an amazing place. Look at how many people live there. Look at average wages there. Look at how much money is made there. Look at how much money is invested there. It brings people from abroad with tourism, people wanting to live there and foreign investment. London probably makes more money than the rest of the uk put together. Look at what London gets and what the rest of England gets. Yorkshire and above gets shunned pretty much. Because of that London is a brain drain for all of uk. What's the government doing about that nothing? Can anyone who doesn't live near London honestly say your part of England gets the same treatment as London? So we want to be able to make our own decision. So what's my point banging on about London well London runs itself. Pretty well from the looks of it. But the rest of the uk sufferers. Same with the whole eu thing. Why not let Brussels run England? Well because they don't know the problems here. One glove doesn't fit all. If a referendum came up for EU to have as much control in England as it doesn't in other pro eu countries. Would you vote yes or no? If you would vote no I don't want eu running England then your saying the same thing we are.

Been in a 335d impressed and disappointed at the same time. Power and loads of it. But it's boring. Yes your hammering it and it's proper fast but the 6pot diesel still sounds rubbish. Also mpg isn't THAT good either. Also have alot of problems which are expensive to fix. But still impressive for a diesel anyway.

True but dynamat won't really help. Add mass helps with stopping rattles and vibration. If you want to stop road noise get some MLV or some CCfoam or dynaliner. Will do a much much better job of blocking road noise. there was a thread of this guy plastering dynamat everywhere. Made only a little difference to road noise. Applied a barrier like dynaliner over it and it was silent.

Yes and no. Basically I say a little bit more because some winter tyres are too soft at normal psi rating but 1-2psi can make it feel normal enough. The rule with winters is generally go thinnest possible BUT it makes the car handle pants in anything other than snow/water. The less surface area you have the more pressure is being exerted per cm of tyre. Which helps it dig into the snow and reduce aqua planing. Generally I suggest a 10-20mm reduction of width for winters e.g. My brothers car ran 235 and 265 in 18 but stick some 17s on and put 215 and 245. Better grip in bad conditions and still plenty of grip for normal driving. I put 155's on another car and it's great I'm snow and I suppose it has ok grip but not as much as a car with 185's.

I wouldn't say the civic will be useless but a low revving diesel will probably get you better mpg plus its a merc so it will eat the miles better. If your spending alot of time in the car then its worth the money imo.

With winters use the recommended or very slightly higher if needed pressure.
