  1. How much tread are left on the 4. They might suit me for track work
  2. is this the thing that got posted up a while back.... is it based on a real person?
  3. My cars sitting as low as that after adjusting the suspension last night. Need to raise it a bit I think.
  4. Nice one mate if you remember then drop me a pm please.
  5. After fitting one of these, the sound of the car inside is alot deeper and louder on start up and revving. I never fitted the spacers in the strut bar as it's already close to by bonnet. It clears the plenum by a ball hair. I got a hold of a thermal kit at a great price by a buddy who was in the states. The only problem I had was I couldn't fit the bottom plenum gasket as the the nuts were so tight on when using a socket on them it stripped the corners off the front nut a little. I gave up and decided to leave it for the pro's when I get a chance. I reckon it will now be a fight to get the nut off. It really is on solid.
  6. she must have been in an eggstreme amount of pain
  7. long gone are the days of the double yoker up this way
  8. lmao @ ricey... that was gonna be twins but ended up a very big chicken period
  9. the 40's are great for track work but hard to get upto a decent temp in the wet.
  10. The original model "the 287ps model" had more torque than its younger brothers. The 2nd model is "the 300ps model" It came out in 2006. Sometimes referred to as the "revup engine" It has a higher rev limiter and a facelift interior and headlights(now bixenon) and led tail lights. The interior was a bit of a let down in the original model according to reviews and the facelift is much better design and quality. The 3rd model came out in 2007 "57" plate if i remember correctly. It had a full overhaul of the engine which now has 2 intake ducts and is referred to as the "HR" engine. It is the exact same as the 2006 facelift model but with the newer engine. It also has a bonnet bulge to help house the new engine. All uk models were of a gt spec which included rays, leather interior and bose sound system. The pre 2006 models sometimes never had the lightweight rays though as they were an optional extra up to a point. Even though these cars vary in power, they are very much similar and the differences in the newer models are much less noticable. The 2006 onwards models have the higher tax band of 400 odd quid I hope this helps you out and welcome

    EBC Redstuff

Yellows are less dusty than the oem brembo pads imo. I clean my car almost everytime i take it out so i dont really notice any build up to be honest.
  12. No probs mines has done it since I got it with 16k on clock. I'm sure more people will be along to share their experiences
  13. Yes mines does it half way down; it's like a slight lump. Been told it's the characteristics of the car. Check another few 06 revup models and they were the same
  14. So the list stand at 1)SteveW 2)Neil P 3)Blacky 4)Ho (lilsheepshagga_turbo) 5)
  15. This is a very interesting read. Hope to see more
  16. Get them transferred to your local dealer. Re040's terrible on the road. Get the re050's. Having 40's on front is a recipe for understeer in corners.
  17. Blu rays are awesome though
  18. Money supermarket is terrible. I got quotes of about 6k. Go onto admiral website and get a quote. When I was 21 I was 1300, just 23 now and slightly under 1k
  19. astra diesels are excellent. very powerful, takes a while to get used to the indicators and window wipers, and the little bleep it does when turning them off is mildy irritating
