  1. I run the kw variant 3's on my zed. They are a fantastic piece of kit! I could do with the lift kit lol. You get used to not being able to take the car to certain places and its not that much of a hassle.
  2. I look forward it! Be careful though I get carried away and missus gets annoyed and starts to beat me for driving like an arseholes lol. I don't know whether to book her on as a driver. I don't think she's interested. Has the hotel got any speed bumps or ramps as I may need to readjust my suspension. I only have 70mm ground clearance at the front lol Vik have you booked the valley track day yet?
  3. I bought mine from a place about an hour drive away from me and I got such good service that I still travel back to them to get my services done. It's all good saying that you could save and get a 977 porker but you have to think realistically about the upkeep of it, servicing etc and breakdowns. I could afford alot of cars but I certainly couldn't afford to run most of them.
  4. Mines was a nightmare. Had to get a mate to hold the shaft while I twisted the knob with a pair of grips on it and two hands
  5. Welcome!!! Simple ! If you want a zed then buy a zed. All cars squire stonechips. These are easily fixable and cheap. There is loads of great zed for sale on here by guys who have bought 370z's or moved on. Look in the for sale section. Most cars on here are well looked after and easily there history is generally on here. Don't buy german, they're not what they used to be. unless you can afford a porker but even that will cost you money! My zed has been faultless and I've loved every minute of it. When I wake up and go out to it on a dull summers day it still makes me smile like a child on Christmas day. It's the only car I have bought that I've never wanted to sell.
  6. Should have Phone somebody with a cutter! It's illegal to clamp in Scotland
  7. what did you do to her car? That's you defo not getting the ps3 controller back
  8. immediately went down the Clyde Valley with her, roads were very greasy, nearly had an off Once it's "bedded" in and coked up it'll get a bit growlier There was however an immediate difference in oomph!!! The slight extra torque, easier breathing and the 13 (claimed)horses was evident. The sound is magic Now you can hear a real growl instead of just the big engine sound, I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy I could, and did, kiss my Akrapovic Like a dog with two lipsticks at the moment lmao 2 lipsticks, that excited lol, cant wait to see it, looking forward to the drive to wales to get to listen to it in its glory.. im gonna let my missus drive a bit of the way
  9. Yes, im guessing its going to be loud my s14 mesured 110 at idle also and 134db at 3.5krpm. But for that i had two exhaust systems, so if i was going to a track where i know they have noise problems i stuck the other system on with 4 silencers. The other had none just two bolts and slid it off the hangers, i plan to do the same with this, aswell a a removable cat as im going to keep it road legal. Still has MOT till july This being turbo thogh will automaticly be quieter than the same exhaust on a vq35, as the turbo quietens exhaust noise Thats intersting i thought the turbo would make it louder lol. Mines is road legal, i still have no cats though lol. A few boys had the japspeed k1 with decats and they said it was ridiculous. I used to go by a row of cars and set probably 2 out of 5 car alarms off if i was giving it welly lol. I ended up selling it as it was too loud for me turning up late at my house lol I did love the sound of it though, it was a great exhaust note
  10. nah she's more like the jodie marsh, jordans classy in comparison
  11. It's only because of phone Video. It is very deep a drive by vid may demonstrate a better noise. It's deep and then gets more rippy towards the high end of the rev range but still deep.
  12. Loving this read! Btw the way with that exhaust you may have issues on the track with noise. We measured 110db on idle with that exhaust on a standard engine lol. It's very vey loud
  13. Look forward to seeing this! What's the difference in sound like? Does it make the 370 sound the way it should?
  14. The y-pipe didn't make much difference. The deceits, however, are another story. The difference between standard and decats was unreal. The decats have taken time to settle in though.
  15. Thanks mate those bottom plenum nuts at front and back are solid. This should make my life easier
  16. Stormgirl... How did I miss all this a year ago? I did see the stormgirl comic posted up and to me stormgirl is a failed middle-aged women trying to make a name for herself off someone elses accomplishments... Ie Nissan. If you're gonna sprawl all over cars at least get your baps out like the real pro tart series Stormgirl we do! Stormgirl we do! Stormgirl oh how we do hate you!!!!
  17. Sounds alot better in person, the video doesn't pick up the depth of the noise. It is very loud now, we had to take it away from my street so as not to upset any neighbours
  18. Happy birthday John hope you have a goodun
  19. Drivers side footwell near bonnet opener
  20. Don't let that annoy you btw, they're all very similar and not much in it. The 276bhp has the most torque
  21. Lol I love it. For anyone interested it's a scorpion exhaust, nismo y-pipe, japspeed decats, thermal plenum spacer and nismo r-tune intake The vid doesn't really show how deep and loud the car is. I love it. Even though it's not been remapped the car feels pretty wild and alot faster. Craig will vouch for this I'm sure
  22. If you read this thread I tried to explain http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=45290&start=0
  23. if its possible to pull big n/a figures which are similar to the turbo figures, i would keep it n/a all the way. Unfortunately its very costly for this and the gains arent massive. N/A power is pure raw power
